Description
Established in 1985, Decoy is recognized for producing attractively priced wines from exceptional vineyard sources, including Decoy's own Ridgeline and Brownell estate vineyards in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County. Decoy's winemaking program is guided by acclaimed Winemaker Dana Epperson, who is an expert at working with multiple grape varieties across multiple regions. The Decoy lineup includes a Red Blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as a Rose and Brut Cuvee. In 2020, Decoy unveiled Decoy Limited, a tier of Limited-production wines made from special lots sourced from California's most prestigious wine regions.

You can’t go wrong with Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an easy to find brand, a well known and tasteful cab. As a cab lover, this is a great bottle for dinner or to give as a hostess gift or birthday present.

I’m a huge Duckhorn fan ($100 wine bottles) - so to see they have expanded their portfolio to more affordable wines is a breath of fresh air . The Cabernet is delicious and very comparable to the higher end version . I got one bottle and should’ve got 5 . Will definitely be trying others from the portfolio . So exciting to find!

This wine is definitely one you would want to keep handy at a dinner party because it is a crowd pleaser! It’s very smooth with deep cherry and earthy tones but not too strong, either. Not too full body like some other Cabernets.

This mama’s GO-TO wine, so nice to find this in store for only $20/bottle. Smooth and doesn’t smell like strong alcohol, I’m very picky and not much of an alcohol drinker. (But when I do) Stocking up for the holidays coz the “pandemic” taught me to start drinking red wine lol
