My mom makes the best mostachón cake! This is popular cake in northeast Mexico. One of my favorites is mango and strawberry mostachón. This is the brand my mom trust for sweet mangos year round. There are other less pricey options but none have the same flavor and texture required for elevated desserts.

These mangos had very little mango flavor, were as softer than canned pears/peaches, and were sweeter than the canned mangos which are more firm and have more flavor than these. I'll stick with the canned mangos and use the rest of the cups I bought in a fruit salad.

These are perfect for my burrito bowls. I made mix them with bell peppers and add it to rice and ground turkey. Sounds like a weird combo but they’re actually very good
