Disappointed

I always buy Del Monte green beans so that I can feel safe and comfortable serving quality products to my family. The picture enclosed in this email or review shows the bottom of two cans. The first can exploded all over me and the kitchen. And the second can I opened was barely a quarter full. I didn’t bother to open the third can. I threw them all away. Looking into the emptier can I did notice lots of green beans with brown spots. Ugh.
I'd be embarrassed

Newly opened and drained green bean cans. I thought when I opened other cans of Del Monte there were fewer beans. Del Monte costs more too.
Quality going down hill

The quality of your green beans are going down hill, I have been buying them my whole life. I usually buy Del Monte because I alway thought they were higher quality but lately I get multiple green beans with stems still attached to the bean in each can. This was very rare in the past but seems to be common place now. I think it's time to move on to some of the other brands and see if their quality control is any better.
What is this in my beans….. i need answers yuck!

I remember as a kid being jealous of people who could afford name brand vegetables. I bought myself a can of these name brand beans and they've got red spots, leaf stems, and stringy bits. Where is quality control? l

We’ve gone through cases of these in the last few years. It was one of toddler’s favorite foods when we first introduced him to solid foods. Last night when I was serving some to my infant, I found something that looks like the thorax of a bug or caterpillar. I’m not an entomologist so I can’t say for sure what it was but I am sure it’s not green bean. I’ll be trying another brand next time I buy.

I am 72 years old. I always bought DelMonte beans BUT no more. All cans are just bits, ends and pieces with brown dried bean stalks included. I am just sick about your quality in the last 6 years. What happened?????

I can always count on the Del Monte brand when it comes to my canned vegetables. I prefer the cut green beans over the French and they're always fresh and very flavorful. The best part is these are non-GMO. And it even says so on the label!

Some people say with canned veggies, brand doesn't make a difference. I have come to say they are wrong. The flavor the quality and the texture are worth the extra price paid
something disgusting in the beans!

I love the taste of Del Monte green beans, so I am usually willing to pay the cost. I also know that I find stems in them occasionally, so I try to inspect them when I pour them out. I have no idea what this chunk of black is, but it was not appetizing at all!!!

We only buy Del Monte canned vegetables and fruit because they taste the most like fresh vegetables. Taste great and not stems . Very good quality.

I purchased a 50oz can of Del Monte Green Beans . I have always bought Blue Lake Del Monte gr beans My mother always said they are the BEST. I was disappointed the find several stems in this can . I could buy cheaper brand but have usually been happy with Del Monte . I hope this is not a change in your quality control .

I always buy Del Monte green beans. This time I dumped the can into my pot and there was a big dark something in the beans! I’m not sure what it is.

I started to drain my can of green beans and turned it over to see how much of the liquid I left in the can and realize the can was way below the usual serving line. I placed the contents on the scale and I am not sure if they measure the ounces with the liquid or with the beans, but this is for below what I usually get and looking at pictures of the other reviews posted I am getting less beans than anyone else had. Times are hard, and I’m not happy.

I bought this can on the 10th of September, it had no dents or noticeable damage to the can itself but when I opened it, it was filled with this disgusting brown slimy stuff. I have always bought this brand and will probably continue to buy this brand I’m just not sure how this can ended up being so bad especially with the expiration date not being until October of 2025.
