Q: Is the changing table on top optional to install?

A: I just got mine and put it together yesterday. It definitely appears to be optional. I’m using mine, but it just screws into the back with 3 screws. Without the changing table it just looks like a standard dresser

A: We apologize that you are experiencing an odor issue. Please know that our finishes are non-toxic, safe, and meet all Federal and State regulations. In addition, we test for 10,000 chemicals including over 1,000 specific regulated chemicals of concern to ensure the safety of your child. However, we do know that some consumers can be sensitive to the new odor smell of freshly finished wood. Therefore, we recommend that you return your furniture to the retailer to obtain a refund.

This item is over priced for trash. It took us several hours to put this cheaply made item together and after we put it together the legs fell off and one of the drawers doesn’t open properly. We followed the directions to a tea and it’s so disappointing that an item that cost around $300 with applicable taxes fell apart so easily. I would never buy this item again nor would I recommend it to anyone. There is a reason why it’s sold out online and not being offered for pick up, delivery or shipping. Save your money and invest in something better.

Took me 7 hours to assemble and the pieces are junk. The drawers get stuck constantly and are almost impossible to put in the slides. The legs broke off and came unscrewed after putting the dresser into place in the room. Don’t waste your time on this if it becomes available to buy again. This was an ABSOLUTE disaster. Save yourself time, money, and effort.

The dresser came with a strong chemical scent. We aired it out, wiped it with soap and even left it on our porch to get the smell out. Unfortunately nothing helped and I am concerned about my child’s safety, as her clothes that I stored in the dresser have the same smell even 2months after assembly. Seems to me that the dresser that’s made for children has a lot of toxins.

Listen, this dresser is beautiful! But it is a pain in the butt to build/put together. We had to break it up over the course of a few days to get it built and there were some parts that didn’t exactly line up - thus, it took some extreme muscle and rearranging on our part to get this dresser built. I love the color and the style but there are some set backs like the drawers, difficultly to build, and the weight of the dresser. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the fact that our baby is due soon I’d consider returning it for something less stressful.

This dresser is amazing! It is a perfect match for the Bowie crib and looks so clean! I love the crystal knobs to match the acrylic slats in the crib. I also really love that it has a space for a changing pad that can be removed once the baby out grows the changing table! I love the safety feature on this dresser that has a locking mechanism, where only one drawer can open at once!

I love this dresser. It’s a quality piece of furniture. My favorite touch is the acrylic knobs that match the acrylic slats on the crib. The dresser had no odor when we took it out of the box, which is really important to me to ensure my baby isn’t breathing in harmful chemicals. I would highly recommend this dresser.

This did not come with assembly instructions included in the box. Delta Children’s website does not have them online and I scoured the internet trying to find them somewhere. The customer service for Delta Childrens is a complete joke. You can’t call anyone to get help. You have to email them and wait. This will be the stupid reason to return an item but at this point I don’t think I want to mess with it any longer. It’s been about a week since I created a help ticket just to get the instructions that should have been included
Product is great but dont like the smell and it can be of concern especially when you plan to keep newborn clothes in these !!
