Terrible design. No aerator and stream splitter should be called a stream spitter. It splatters everywhere and stream splits erratically. Makes a mess around sink, even splatters mirror and your shirt. I also bought 2 of the spread handle version … same terrible operation. Beautiful visually, terrible functionally.
DO NOT BUY THIS FAUCET!!

I had this faucet put in when we had our bathroom renovated a year ago and I hated it! When you turn the water on you get a splash all over your counter and all over the floor. My contractor laid construction paper on the floor and counter and turned on the water. You could see splashes three feet away!! He turned the water way down and it did not make a difference. It took a while but eventually my contractor was able to get a refund and replaced my faucet with one where the water comes out normally.

How do you remove or clean aerator on my delta 567LF-LPU faucet? I hardly have any water flow. Do you replace with another model if under warranty?
Good looking but I have unresolved issues.

Found out that the Aerator is actually a Stream Straightener(SS), not an Aerator at all. I am trying to find a way to remove the SS to see how the water flows without it. Also would like to know if there is a real Aerator that I can install in place of the SS. Otherwise, I am not happy with the way the water flows out now as it hits the top of the drain stopper causing the water to splash all over my shirt. If this cannot be corrected, I will be forced to replace all four of these faucets that I just purchased and installed, with different brand faucets that have real Aerators. Splashing cannot continue! I would recommend this faucet of the spashing can be resolved!

Hi Sweetwater Inn, Thank you for your review of the Delta Faucet model 567LF-MPU-PP-R. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help. The stream straightener or aerator is removed by unscrewing counterclockwise. The flow rate can be reduced with the RP79322 for 1.0 GPM or RP79323 for 0.5 GPM. Please reach out with any questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

I just installed the Modern in our guest bathroom and I'm not that impressed with it. Two things are picking at me. The water supply lines that came with the faucet were 6 inches too short. I had to purchase two extra hoses to extend them so they would reach the valves. The second thing is the water flow, or lack of it. I understand that flow restrictors are now required but even at full flow, there is barely enough flow. I'm happy with how it looks but that's about it.

The splashing is ridiculous.

This faucet is installed in the apartment I rent. While it looks great, it’s awful to use. The laminar flow pattern causes water that hits your hand to splash out quite high at an almost perfect 45° angle. Result: your counters are all wet, very wet. I really wish a better, more usable faucet was installed instead.

Nice, but one big problem

I love the style and quality of the Ara faucet. But one design choice causes a problem. The aerator in this model is non-standard and seems to be designed to give the water flow a specific artsy pattern when it flows out. Clever and it looks appealing. The problem is, when you put your hands under the water stream to wash them, the intended design of the water flow causes splash-back and the water goes everywhere outside the sink. Countertop always gets wet. Always. A more standard round aerated water flow coming out of the faucet would have been less artsy, but much more practical.

PLEASE HELP!!! I want these to work badly but I’m barely getting any water flow through the two new ones purchased and my contractor cannot figure out why. Rest of my bathroom is fitted with high end detla and works great. I don’t mind lower GPM but this is nearly like turning off a normal bathroom faucet and trying to get proper use out of it.

This faucet's aerator cannot be replaced and the water flows out of this in a flat laminar flow, so when it hits your hand, it ends up bouncing off directly out of the sink. It would be better if the aerator worked to make the flow turbulent so it doesn't bounce off the surfaces. As it is, it makes a mess and I don't recommend this design.

Hi, We appreciate you providing feedback on the Delta faucet. I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with the laminar flow of the faucet. Installing one of the lower 1.0 gallon per minute (RP73838) or 0.5 gallon per minute (RP73837) flow restrictor will reduce the amount of splashing. You can also reduce the amount of flow at the shut offs to the faucet. I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Best regards, Brandis

When these were installed I loved them.... until I turned it on. The flow is terrible! Our plumber fiddled with it for quite a while and ultimately said that's what it would have be with 1.2gpm. We purchased a different model Delta faucet for our guest bath, also 1.2gpm and it runs beautifully. Disappointed customer here for sure...
