Light, easy to clean, deep enough. Would prefer if the bottom was more conductive on induction. Use the wok about 3 times a week. No need to worry about non-slip surface peeling off or breaking down.

After seeing and using this "wok", I get the distinct impression that Demeyere has no idea what proper wok should be, for the following reasons: 1). It weighs as much as a cast iron skillet, making it difficult to control tossing and heating with any elegance, 2). The base is the same width as a large stove burner, so this pan heats horizontally, like a skillet, rather than taking advantage of a wok's natural heat zones. 3). It uses a metal handle--not safe/convenient for high heat. 4). It includes the same generic instruction manual as all of Demeyere's other cookware...which precludes seasoning. Basically, you're paying a lot for a deep-sided pan, from a company well-reputed for high-quality pans--but not for a wok. I'm disappointed.

Great wok. Looks nice, great for light and heavy-duty cooking, cleans up easily. Wish they also would make a smaller version (that is still deep) for deep frying so that I can use less oil.

This is a great piece first of all. The only reason I’m giving it a three star is to make people aware that this pot is not for everyone, especially if you tend to do a lot of stir fries like me. First off, according to the instructions, you got to make sure oil touches everywhere before you start the fire, or otherwise vegetables or meat will become sticky to the side of the pan. Also, like what’s being said in Zwillings ads, the only reason you got food sticky to a pan is you don’t have good control of the fire, and this is true. I’ve been practicing stir frying for a decade and I’m getting better at using stainless steel pan instead of a non-sticky pan. But for starter, I’m not sure whether this pan will be a helper or not, so just be a little mindful.
Amazed at the what I can produce in this pan!

This is wok, true, but I have also found it to be so much more. Firstly, I want a wok to take high heat; I expect to be able to get it smoking, smoking hot for a quick char on my vegetables, and this one does that. That also makes it excellent for deep frying; even the top gets hot because heat is conducted all the way up the sides. I also want a handle I can grasp and shake things up with; this handle stays cool and is comfortable to grasp. So if I am tossing pasta and sauce in this pan I have complete control. Finally, I want my pans to look good and hold up. Because of how its made, this pan is easy to clean (so side rivets to scrub around): the stainless steel can take a hit of Barkeeper's Friend powder and everything comes right up and the treatment on the exterior keeps it bright and shiny. This is a pan you'll have for a lifetime.

Great wok! It heats up great and works perfectly on my electric cooktop (but also induction compatible). It's so easy to make healthy stir fry meals; meats brown, vegetables sear and sauces thicken. Clean up is a breeze. Demeyere sets the industry standard for high quality cookware. The Industry line would be right at home in a restaurant or home kitchen. It's constructed with 5 thick layers, including 3 layers of aluminum, one of the best heat conductors. This guarantees your pan can get screaming hot, ideal for searing and frying. Other quality features include dripless pouring rims, a very comfortable handle that's welded, not riveted, that will help disperse heat and is easier to keep clean. The additional helper handle comes in very handy when the pan is full. No coatings, so there's nothing to wear out ever.

A stir-frying pan manufactued from high-quality stainless steel! This pan is a quick-release food stainless steel wok, yes it is not a non-stick, however, cooking with wok is effortless with the use of fat and oil! Excellent stir-frying pan, sauteing pan and can also works for deep frying, a perfect pan. Its superior flat-base stays flat, it will not warp, handle is stay-cool, and easy to maneuver transitioning food to a plate. Highly recommended handwashing, preventing from the dishwasher's detergent abrasiveness and from any damage-causing from bumping into hard and pointy stuff during the wash. It is easy to clean; just soak with water and soap and use a stainless steel cream cleanser such as Bar Keeper's friend with the sponge to remove food residue. Works on all stovetop including induction and oven safe!

Demeyere offers many features taht allow this line to stand out. The laser welded handles allow strong attachment to the pan without needing to have rivets on the inside of the pan. A treatment to the metal, called Silvinox, keeps the steel from darkening by removing the impurities, this imparts a pretty silver-white color to the pans that is maintained over the long haul. The ample stay cool sandblasted handles make for easy gripping and moving of the pans. Lots of features, making this line well worth the premium price.

Five ply base heats quickly and evenly for stir frying. Sloped sides allow you to toss and mix food items for use as a great pasta pan. Heat retention also makes perfect for deep frying. SIlvinox treatment keeps pan looking shiny and bright and provides for extremely easy clean up.

Great wok! Trying to eat healthy so this pan is getting a workout. The 5 layers heat up quickly and evenly all the way up the sides, so as you stir fry that hot pan is working all around. Not too heavy so if you want to toss the contents you can. We had a small area of sauce burnt on and it came right up with a baking soda paste!

I cook a lot of stir fry for our family and this is the wok to have. Demeyere industry pans are made from a 5-Ply construction which provides amazing heat capability. The pan is the same thickness from base to rim adding to the heat capability. Stir fry can be messy but clean up is so easy with this pan - there are no rivets on the interior.

This wok is the perfect size, it's not huge like some of them out there, and you can still cook enough food for 1-4 people. Easy to clean, not too heavy, and it's beautifully made. After cleaning with soap, I just apply a bit of oil on a paper towel to bring back all of the shine, and it looks like new again
