Tablecloth arrived with a stain

When I opened the package there was a pinkish stain right in the middle of the tablecloth. Unfortunately I needed it for that night so used anyway and just covered with a centerpiece - otherwise I would return it. The rest of it was fine, but seriously how does a stain end up in the middle of a new tablecloth? And its a permanent stain as it did not come out in the wash. Very disappointed.
