I always like to have something unique in the front porch entrance and Crotchety Crank is perfect!! We have a lot of trees in our neighborhood so I liked the whole tree design idea. The detail is outstanding!

This guy is WAY cool. The colors of the leaves and bark are realistic and it feels like a quality piece when you hold it. The artistic design is absolutely beautiful, and the entire mood of the piece is descriptive in itself! One of the eyes in this one looks a little 'off' as to placement, and it didn't even matter! My only disappointment was that my friend received the shipping box soaked from rain on the doorstep and he tore open the gift I'd been waiting to see him open for Christmas to be sure the contents weren't damaged - grrrrrrrr. Now, we all know that fitted, styrofoam box it was in was NOT wet, but he lifted it open anyway. HMPH!! That ordeal was the shipper's fault. But this was a backorder item on extended delay beyond initial expectation, and Toscano got it out and to him in the needed time frame. TOSCANO ROCKS IN ALL THINGS!!!

We love this little guy. He is sooo cute and well made. We are always impressed with the careful shipping. We have ordered several things from Design Toscano and are always thrilled! This guy guards our door and warns our visitors to leave their "cranky" outside with him and not bring it in to our home!!

This character adds whimsy, life and humor to a room. It wouldn't fit every place, but in a room that has a large mural with 3D birds and fairies hidden among the flowers with green man plaques around book shelves, it adds to the magic.
