Design Toscano Dragon Assassin Illuminated Sculpture

My husband bought this for me for Christmas. I’ve been a dragon lover all my life, and am also a goth, so what could be more perfect? Well, truthfully, something made from better materials. The resin is very lightweight. The skull is cheap plastic. The dragon’s horns are some kind of flexible silicone or rubber, but if anything bends them the black paint immediately cracks and flakes off. I kept it anyway because it was cute... until the batteries died. Then, when I tried to change them, I discovered that the battery compartment probably wasn’t intended to hold three batteries; they were wedged in so tightly that I had to pry them loose with a screwdriver, and one of them promptly exploded. I opted not to put more in. So all in all, it’s a cute statue and relatively inexpensive as these statues go, but you get what you pay for.

I have him sitting in my front window next to the front door. On the door, a sign says “solicitors will be eaten by the dragon. No soliciting!” He is very fierce looking. I Love him and will treasure him!

Very happy with the purchase. The dragon is great. My daughter loved it. She collects them and she went "nuts" when she opened the Christmas present.I will be sure to purchase another and I look forward to that.

This was a Christmas gift for a dragon/skull collector. Both figures in the same piece and it lights up. What a good find. She loved it. I am going to buy another for my daughter-in-law's birthday.

This dragon was purchased as a gift. She had to show it off to all the customers at work for a few days. Being lighted added to it uniqueness. The colors are very vivid and the sculpture is of high quality. She said better than most of her collection. The only reason I gave "average" to ease of maintenance is that it is a sculpture! I will definitely be back for more. No matter where else and whatever I looked at for dragons I ended back here to purchase.

A cool piece with tons of potential, the painting needs work, looks like a kid painted it. The lighting effect helps a lot.

Who wouldn't like this dragon, it's so well made. It has some of the best detail I've seen. For the price it's a steal.
