Design Toscano Goliath the Gargoyle Sculpture

Absolutely love Goliath. With a little help from a rotary tool we turned Goliath into the guardian of our garden and pool. He has been the hit of the pool season.

Somewhat pricey but worth the purchase as I am a devoted collector of DT gargoyles. This one is unique in that the bodily torso is only suggested. Therefore, it becomes a question as where to place the figure for greatest effect. I decided that he should rest on a patio wall. Viewed from the front, he seems to have climbed the wall and paused to rest and contemplate. In color, he is a quite dark so I applied a coat of medium grey paint to better accentuate his features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goliath looks great and his size is impressive. I am developing some new parts of our garden and will be incorporating a semi-discrete spot where he can see and be seen. It is too early to rate accurately, but the finish looks durable and easy to clean.

As a previous owner noted he can be fragile..I have had mine for 6 or 7 years. He rolled off my couch onto the rug about 14 inches and his whole face caved in. I will replace him someday..I probably should have known better..

I am very satisfied with my purchase of gollaith the gargoyle , this was a gift for my grandson , he was delighted to receive this on xmas morning this will be placed in the garden near his treehouse

Awesome way to add to your garden without the statue jumping out and taking over your garden design. He fits in really well.

Awesome conversation piece for the coffee table, yes the coffee table! Makes my wife feel safe and protected.

Goliath rests atop the stairs of my garden terraces. His impressive sculpt serves as a reminder to us that the stairs extend no further; while his watchful eye keeps the neighbor's cats from digging where they shouldn't.

This statue is a real eye-catcher but can be easily damaged by sun and heat exposure. I've had 2 and both cracked at the same ear when placed outside on a deck. I recommend this one but with limits.

Goliath is awesome! I have lots of gargoyles and am a collector. They are all over my home and in my office at work. Goliath is by far my most favorite gargoyle. I love looking at him and enjoy his company.

I love my Goliath.....He looks so real I almost think he will be talking to me soon!
