This hippo sculpture is so lifelike looking and meticulously crafted in resin, and am pleased with my purchase. I'm a hippo collector and have purchased the other hippo head products Toscano offers, and those are also excellent!

As a collector of all things hippo--from t-shirts to toys--I could not resist Huey. I've placed him under a side table, though clearly visible. He startles visitors--in a pleasant way, of course. However, the Huey I received is significantly different from the one on offer now. Mine has a closed mouth and a darker coloration. So, it would be up to the prospective buyer of this piece whether the one pictured is acceptable. Recommended, with this one caveat.
