Design Toscano Meara, the Mermaid Sculptural Garden Swimmer

She’s beautiful, but we renamed her Marilyn after Monroe , I wish she was a little bigger , but it will due for now. Fast shipping great company and the price was good cheaper then other online stores

This fits perfectly on a fireplace mantel in our bar Pearl Street Taphouse. I would like to request you cast one must larger as I would purchase it to across the top of the back bar. You see our logo is a mermaid. Let us know if you can make this happen.

I recently bought this mermaid and although the design is beautiful and the piece is a nice addition to the pool deck, I was slightly disenchanted over the size. I wasn’t looking for something large, but I expected it to be larger than it was- the pictures are slightly misleading as I thought the flower pot was a large size pot beside it- the mermaid head and chest is only slightly longer than my hand and about the same height and width. The only other thing I was disappointed in was the weight of the tail- a small leaf blower can blow the tail over, even when filled with water to add weight, because it is so small.

Beautiful piece!! Shes out by my pool!! I wish they offered a bigger one!! Many compliments!! It came safely packaged and very quickly!!! Definitely worth the money!! Loved it so much ,ordered a bunch more things from the website!!!

Meara has a very lovely face that is far more beautiful than the online picture suggests. Maybe she's not photogenic, but in person - a knockout!

We purchased Meara to display in our shop, as a form, she has nice flowing lines, realistic scale texture on the tail, and the classical facial features one would come to expect from contemporary statuary. A peaceful, yet determined expression beams from flowing tresses that seem to be moving with the ocean breeze, as her tastefully unclad form emerges from whatever surface she is placed on, and her tail emerges from beneath and flips up in a very dynamic fashion behind her. A lovely dark teal, giving her the look of aged copper, little peeps of gold highlight the various textures all over the figure- she is not too big, but definitely gets seen at around the length of just under two feet- although she is versatile in that you can separate the pieces to make her appear longer or shorter! She is lightweight enough for a very easy transportation, but weighted enough that she doesn't move or knock over easily- all for a price that wont break the bank- yet another great find at Design Toscano.

I got it for a gift for my sibling, It look just like the picture and was pack good and I cant wait to see it in by her pool come summer time.

Absolutely love it. Instead of putting out in my garden I actually left it on top of my bar and looks really nice. I guess you can use this piece of art anywhere you want....outdoors,indoors. Very nice and well made.

This is a lovely mermaid decoration for my small pool; nicely detailed and realistic. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but still fits in well in my garden without being too large or too small. I would recommend this to anyone wanting something different, but pretty, for outdoor decor.

This statue is beautifully deigned and executed.The removable plug to add weight is particularly useful. The tail is relatively light and easily tipped but since I was mounting it on a board I drilled a hole through the board and inserted a molly bolt through it and into the tail hole, which holds it securely. The sand I put in the upper body was sufficient to hold that part. My only wish is that it were not as dark a finish as presented. I did not expect that from the photos and it its beautifuul detail is hidden greatly by it.

I can't show a pic..cause my mermaid is sitting all prime red waiting for me to hand paint her in pretty colors. I had no intention of keeping her all green looking! She will be lovely and fit perfect in my scenery, with my parrot and sandcastle under my palmtree. She is so cool looking coming out of the floor! I do plan on making a sort of quilt tree skirt to look like water and sand. I'm having fun!!!

Meara the Mermaid is gorgeous. She sits by the side of my pool and adds a touch of fantasy that I always wanted. She is so lovely that I ordered one for my friend, who is mermaid crazy, and she immediately made Meara a centerpiece for her dining-room table. I will definitely be ordering more from your company to add to my outdoor decor.

Very nice and looks great! My only concern was that it does have some funky parts that look like goop here and there. Not bad enough to go through the pain of returning it, though. We have it displayed and it looks good.
