Size, Shape, and color were perfect. Live on the Oregon, so will wait to see about durability. If placed in a spot where wind is a factor, there is a hole in the bottom where dry sand can be pored in and the hole corked to increase weight for stability.

Beautiful statue! Looks majestic in my living room! As I deepen my spirituality journey, delving into the wisdom of Buddha has proven far more fulfilling than any catholic teaching I received as a kid.

This Buddha is STUNNUNG. I have it under roof cover in front of home for over 2 years now & it gets the attention of everyone! It is quite large. I was afraid it would be stolen so I drilled a hole in the back lumbar area & filled it with heavy gravel & cemented it to to a base. I also surrounded it with river rocks. Furthermore, i spray painted it a dark bronze color because I wanted it to be even & I sealed it with outdoor sealer to protect it from the elements as it faces east & gets all the harsh morning sun rays. It does not disappoint. The quality far exceeds many others I have seen at other stores. I could not be happier!!!

We just added this to our gardens and it is a very nicely made and looking piece. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was it’s weight. It’s well balanced and sits upright in significant wind but it is light in weight for it’s height. Another 10lbs in the base would balance it nicely. We live on top of a mountain in CO so winds can reach speeds in excess 70 mph often. I’ve settled on a sheltered spot under a Portland Pine that is shielded from some wind by a few boulders. This is a worth considering it has a real presence to it.

This Meditative Buddha statue was a surprise for my husband. We both love it! He is so beautiful and the detail is amazing. He is seated in the entry way to our home and sets a tone of peace. Well packaged and heavy piece arrived quickly! Can't go wrong with this piece in your home.

I put the medium Buddha on my patio. It is a great piece. Looks just like ones I saw in Thailand. I'm buying one for my son. Also bought several others in the same order and all of them are excellent and I feel like I got very good value.

I really like the size and finish of the small one I got. Details are very sweet I’m fits perfectly in my yard. The only reason I gave it three stars and not five is that his hands are like a cup. Which is great for some birdseed, colorful stones or some other offering. Not very good for the standing water that collects. And it is already begun to soften & chip the paint. And while I am happy to protect him from winter weather , keeping him out of rain was not something I expected to have to do.

This piece is exquisite. It looks beautiful in our garden and introduces a Zen quality. We were very pleased with the size and quality of this piece. So far, everything we have bought from Design Toscano has been great!

This is a beautiful Buddha but it is large, even though it is described as medium. Too large for my not-so-small yard. I'd love to see this exact same one in a smaller size but cannot locate one anywhere, so alas, I'll return the too-large one. Sorry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the serenity of Buddhist statuary, and I love this seated Buddha from Design Toscano! I wanted to add a statue to the window well outside my basement office, and the medium size works perfectly. I added red paint to the "third eye" and clear-coated the whole thing several times to add weather resistance. The Buddha sits on a stack of two 16" square cement blocks. Artificial greenery adds a touch of softness. I am very pleased with the product. Everyone compliments the Buddha's facial expression. Please note: The "cracks" in the finish are there by design to add realism.

I wanted to find a meditative figure for my small backyard garden, preferably a Buddha. This was exactly what I wanted. The size was right for the space I wanted to fill and the expression on the face and the prayerful hands gave it the sense of peace that I was looking for!

I originally purchased this for my backyard garden..I enjoy looking at it so much, I decided to place it in my living room as a reminder of the way we are meant to be.....content and peaceful..independent of external circumstance.. The artistic design and craftsmanship is exquisite. It is a joy to behold from every angle. , with a face sure to quiet the heart and calm the spirit.. I was looking for a large Laughing Buda for my tranquility garden but couldn't find one that suited my needs. I reluctantly purchased the large Buda and was very impressed with the amazing quality and attention to detail of the Buda. The Buda is an excellent addition to my garden and adds the Zen element I was hoping for.

I like this statue. I have not yet placed it where it will ultimately be, which is outside where another statue feature is currently located. When that space is available, which should be in a few weeks, the Buddha will move to its outdoor location. It is simply much too large to remain indoors; in fact, it is the approximate size of a small adult, albeit in a sitting, meditative position. I'd recommend this to anyone who has room to display it. It is solidly built, heavy enough to be stable, but still light enough to be maneuvered if necessary. After it's been outside for a while, I expect there will be some dirt and debris collecting here and there on it, but I think a light spraying with a garden hose should take care of that.

I was extremely please with the quality and workmanship of this statue. It make a wonderful addition to my Zen garden and blends well with garden soil and surrounding plants and fountains.

This is a great piece. Looks good and heavy enough to not worry about the wind bellowing it over. Not sure how it wear in Tucson sun heat but first month hasn't shown any wear. Well worth the money and very pleased. Note that it looks better in real life than in the photos. It is a substantial piece and appearance is excellent. Not cheap looking at all. Short of hitting it with a small hammer, you cannot tell it is resin. Appears to be bronze or antique wood.

It is a really nice statue. The Buddha statue is good value for the price. I have it out in the back yard. It looks great.

This Buddah statue is beautiful. I have received many compliments on it.

Statue is beautiful and big.Having swimming pool constructed and statue will sit above a waterfall.Definetly recommend!!
