I am abit afraid to mount it myself/ or have my husbabd mount it to the wall. I have a similarly mounting shelf but in wood, which required added supports or wall-studs to level. properly. One hundred plus dollars was not "inexpensive". Well made and durable and packaged very well foor safe delivery. Looks apppropriate in my home---I am an archaeologist!
