Design Toscano The Mermaid of Langelinie Cove Wall Sculpture

It is beautiful, well made, such detail! Heavy but not overly heavy for an indoor wall. I just love her

I bough this, it is so beautiful I can't say anything else that would even come close to how I feel about this Mermaid. I'm so happy with her. I just don't know how to keep her from changing. I guess bring her inside..( I think I will in winter )

I am so glad I found such a beautiful piece for my entryway and shes the perfect size, and with a little bronze paint shes stunning!! She was easy to hang and is very secure. Shes a favorite of all my mermaids!

Looks good on the wall. Its grey in color and not bad at all. It came safely packed in stiafoam. I gave it only four stars because the hanging hook, although very heavy duty leaves the sculpture slightly loose from the wall. Tried to add photo but that part of review process didn't work.

Got it about three weeks ago and my painter is going to paint it white and then i’ll mounted it on the outside of the house. It will replace a seahorse on the back wall the house. Sure wish y’all would paint it white just send it out that way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of weeks ago to put in my entry way. I mounted it in a display titled archway. The mermaid fit to perfection.I painted her with white chalk paint. Three coats to the back side and 3 coats to the front. I sanded all seams and drips. I allowed the coats to dry several hours between coats. The chalk paint dried as smooth as can be. Between coats it appeared streaky and uneven but not the case when it finished drying. If you want to paint over yours, chalk paint is the way to go. I put no finish over it. It's appearance matched my other mermaids. I painted her because she was grey in color when I received her. I thought she was white when I ordered her but she is not. She is concrete grey color. All in all she is beautiful and I would recommend her to everyone. I would order her again knowing I had to paint her. Everyone complements me to how beautiful this mermaid is. She deserves a 5 star easily!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a gift for my cousin who just bought a home on the water. He has 12 foot ceilings in the living room and he hung her on the large wall overlooking the living room. She is the focal point of the room. When he finished hanging her, he paused and said, "she is really classy". I was so pleased.

This looks amazing hanging behind my pool bar. It is the perfect size. I wish it was painted but I can get it done by a local artist. Great buy

I sent this to my boyfriend for part of his birthday gift. He was so happy when he received it as he has admired a mermaid I have on my wall at my place. This one is even more beautiful. He said it was absolutely gorgeous, when he opened the package. It was everything and more than I expected.

I wanted some elegant touches for my pool area. this filled the bill.

This mermaid is just stunningly gorgeous! She has a very detailed face and after studying her eyes, lips and high cheek bones. Surprisingly she reminds me a lot of a girl that I knew growing up some 45 years ago... I call her Carol :) On the website she looks more of an off white color. My mermaid is more of a light gray in color. She is solid and heavy (good thing) for her size and mounts very securely with a separate steel bracket. This makes it simple to lift her off the bracket for storage if necessary. It would take a major hurricane or earthquake to dislodge this lovely lady!

This is an impressive piece of art work an really enhances our lanai/ pool deck area. The shipping box was somewhat damaged and the back of the sculpture had a crack which did not go through to the front. The piece was so lovely I decided to reinforce the back myself rather than return it. It is not a piece you readily find in garden centers which appealed to me.

I love my new Mermaid of Langelinie Cove wall sculpture! It is absolutely beautiful and well made.I was going to hang it outside but felt it was too beautiful and it ended up on my living room wall. I have received many compliments when I posted it on Facebook. I have ordered several items from Toscana in the past and still have them to this day. I am impressed by the detail and the mounting bracket works great. It's super easy to hang on the wall or any relatively flat surface. It took a little longer to ship than expected but well worth the wait.

I was very excited to receive this piece, and it definitely fulfilled my expectations! Very detailed and larger than imagined, makes a great focal point. I have a side yard instead of back (the pool is caged in the rear of the house) and have a large blank wall. Looking for the unexpected while still sticking to the pool theme where a bronze Mermaid of the Isle of Capri sits. This definitely does just that! The boring wall is now highlighted by a fiberglass fountain being repurposed as a planter, with the mermaid looking back at the tiered fountain next to a glass block master bath window. This heavy piece will certainly be a conversation starter for our sitting area there and adds an ethereal quality to a previously boring wall! Five Stars, beautiful and what a great price!!!!

I bought this mermaid sculpture for my pool cabana bar . I had a nautical - of the sea theme in mind for my decor .She was perfect !I bronzed her up and dusted with gold paint . Perfect work of art! I anchored the mermaid sculpture outside the cabana for all to see. My guests ,upon arriving will be greeted by the elegance of her beauty as they enter my cabana pool bar. galazhar, somehow you must have just gotten a bad one. I've had this hanging on a brick wall outside in all kinds of weather for 3 years and it's still perfect. It's lays flat against the wall, coloring is good. Beautiful piece, would recommend to anyone.

Wish to see a spirit on the face(1), better quality of mixer of this material(2), more long hair with better details and proportions in sculpture(3), plus size of whole piece(4), and absolutely flat for full attachment to the wall
