Q: how many rolls would I need if my wall is 18 ft wide by 8 ft tall
A: Each roll covers 28 s/f so this project should require a little over 5 rolls of wallpaper.
submitted byDevine Color Support - 5 years agoBrand expertA: I would guess 6-8 rolls. Each roll is 16.5 feet long, so you may only get one strip out of some rolls since you lose a little waste when lining up the pattern.
submitted byTempaper Customer Service - 5 years agoBrand expertA: If the wall is 18 feet wide, that means it is 216 inches wide (18 x 12 = 216). Now, each roll is 20 inches wide. So take that 216 inches and divide by 20. You get 10.8, or 11. That means you need 11 vertical strips to cover your width. Now, since each roll is just over 16 feet and your wall is half that, that means you would get 2 vertical strips per roll, right? Now, divide that 11 (total number of vertical strips) by 2 (number of 8-foot-long vertical strips per roll) and you get 5.5, which is the number of rolls you'd need to cover your wall. Since you can't buy a half roll, you'll need 6 rolls. And, since this is a repeating pattern and not a solid, you might want to get an extra roll to make sure the brick edges match up. (I know this question is old, but I figured I'd answer anyway ...)

A: Your wall is about 89 square feet, so you would need probably 5 rolls.

Q: Am I able to cut this to alter the length? And if so, what tool would work best?
A: Yes, I cut mine into many pieces to fit my backsplash. Regular scissors are all you need. It is not thick.

A: I believe so. Just make sure the surface is clean.

Q: Can I hang photos directly over the wallpaper?
A: As long as you are hanging with a nail or screw, as opposed to one of those 3m strips, it should be totally fine. It would just have a hole in it as drywall would.

Q: I have a mirrored wall, will it stick to that?
A: I bet it would stick really well. I've put contact paper over mirror before. Might even be a little tough to get off.

Q: Can I use a humidifier in the room where this is hung or willit cause peeling?
A: I have it on an exterior wall with poor insulation, so it's subjected to rather large swings in both temperature and humidity. I haven't had a single problem with it peeling - not in the winter, when my house gets super dry; not in the summer, when it's 80 degrees and humid and I have the windows open.

Q: Can it be applied to walls in a bathroom?
A: It's not super sticky so i would be careful. It peels off easily. If kids are not involved it would work in a bathroom.

Q: Can you apply this paper with regular wallpaper paste if you didn't want to use the peel and stick option?
A: As this product is an adesive one we cannot know if the wallpaper glue would be compatible with the sticker glue. It would be best to use this product as intended.
submitted byDevine Color Support - 9 years agoBrand expertA: I applied it as a kitchen backsplash and did not use any glue have cleaned with wet rags & even fantastic it has stuck really well. I have not had any areas that have lifted & wouldnt think glue would be necessary.
