DHA Kid's Chewable 100 mg by Now Foods - 60 Softgel

My kiddo is very accustomed to vitamins and supplements, but these were disgusting. They're essentially like fluid-filled fruit snacks... but the fluid is fish juice. They're so cute, and they're also so gross. We will be throwing them out and sticking with our DHA/cod liver oil from different brands.

My son did not like the taste at all. I thought he was being picky so I tried them. It was awful. The only way to take these is to swallow them. Not kiddo friendly.

I gave them the Omega 3 chewables every evening. This is the first time I gave omega 3 supplement in chewable form to them and I wasn't sure if they would like it or not. Although I realize how important it is for children to have omega 3 for their development, we somehow missed to give them the supplement. I once tried and got it in gummies form but I'm not a big fan of gummies as they are sticky and a big cause for cavities. Nowkids has made a great Omega 3 supplement for kids as they are easy to take and comes in attractive fish shape and has a great taste as well. My younger one found it a bit hard to chew at first but now there's problem. I would be buying this again for my kids and I'm thankful to chickadvisor and Nowkids for sending these so I could try and know that my kids are happily taking the much needed omega3.

Would recommend this product to all parents of children up to the age of 12 together all the omega 3 they should have. This was a free trial and I received these at no charge and was very happy to get them to try.

My 4-year old liked these chewable vitamins, but unfortunately they're not vegetarian (and we are) so we will not buy again unless we can't find other vegetarian omega 3 chewables for kids. Although, I love the brand and easy packaging! Even my daughter said, "I like that the cap is still attached." Me too! Very clever so the cap doesn't get lost or become a choking hazard either. #gotitfree

When you first open the bottle smells like orange but the soft gels doesnt have any flavor to them. A bonus is that they are non-gmo and made in canada. She didn't like the taste of the gel on the inside, but I believe it's a great vitamin for kids overall and not every child has the same taste buds so I would definitely recommend this!!

The packaging is done very well, they smell amazing like orange candies & they are shaped like fish & are a nice size but I also let my nephews try them but they all said its a weird gush when you try to chew it and it doesn't taste very good for smelling like they do. My sister also pointed out that if you have multiple kids and it says to take multiple chewable throughout the day she would go through a bottle super fast and for the price its not worth it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When it comes to Omega 3, the least flavourful the better. There is no fishy taste, or any strong taste for that matter. They come in fun fish shaped capsules, which explode into your mouth when you bite into them. Do not expect them to have the same texture as gummies, they are definitely more like a capsule that you chew. I love that my 3 year old can take this, but so can I! That being said I must disclose, my son who is 6 and my husband were both not fans of this vitamin, they did not like the texture. Though in every day life they tend to be picky on the textures of other foods as well. My daughter and I however, love them! My daughter who is 3 actually asks for more and I love that I can give her more as the daily recommended dose is 2 capsules 1-3 times a day. We only give them in the morning, and with a meal. I definitely recommend this vitamin to other families looking to get more omega 3 into their diets without that fishy aftertaste

Unfortunately, my pediatrician explained that she because she is too young for Multi Vitamins, she should be taking only Vitamin D and Omega - 3. I have tried multiple brands, but getting her to actually take the product was a huge challenge. The shape of these Omega - 3 are like little "fishies" as she squeeled, so I knew we are possibly getting somewhere. They are very cute, small - just the right size for little fingers and mouth! Another advantage is that they smell very good - citrucy, and from the enthusiasm my toddler shows eating them I will assume that they taste great too!
