Dickies Original 874® Work Pants

Dickies are the only pants I wear. They are my favorite pant, super versatile. I have had better experiences with vintage dickies sizing. I had to return the original 874 because they are too stiff and need to be worked in, but more importantly because they were too small. I have original 874, flex, and skateboarding, I have measured all waists and they all vary by 1-2 inches. I have found the skateboarding dickies to fit more true to the size and able to wear right out the box. But nothing compares to a broken in 874 that’s sized…

I have been wearing Dickies 874 pants for 35 years and I still like the way you manufacture them today.

Pants looked good and quality seemed fine but the size was way off (small). Not just off for what I normally wear but off compared to other Dickies pants. Will have to try to figure out how to return them.

I've been wearing Dickies for years, but they've always had a problem with the accuracy of the size. I have 2 pairs of 34 inch waist shorts and another 2 pairs of the same size pants and they fit great. I ordered 4 more pairs of the same size pants and 2 of the 4 are too tight. You'd think 34 inches would be universally the same, but it's just never been the case. This problem isn't unique to Dickies, but it's still problematic none the less. All 4 are the same style and size, according to the tags, but 2 of them are smaller than the others. Dickies needs better quality control. As far as the shipping and price and everything, that stuff has always been great, but the size thing has always been an issue.

Always love dickies faithful member one thing!!!! Though bring back the lavender pants they were a big deal in the south

Not true to size. These run small. In order to return an online order you will eat the shipping on the return. So no free returns on an incorrectly sized product. Apparently I wear a size 40 in everything other than Dickies work pants

These pants are so great. I tried them out to see if a "work" pant would cross over into an office environment and they did that and more. I tried them in the burgundy and was so pleased with the fit, the quality and the durability from wash to wash. I like them so much, I came back and got 4 more colors. They are now the only pants I wear to work.

I can always depend on Dickies. The pants and shirts are of very good quality.

Good looking pants that look expensive, but really are great priced. Great fit.

Order some 874 and they are like 2 sizes smaller, now they are in a drawer can't use it

Way too small in the waist. I ordered a couple pairs of the 874 pants and the sizing is way off. I used to swear by these work pants, but they don’t seem to be the same quality that they used to be.

Please never change the 874 Original Fit. It is the only reliable pair of pants in the world. I love them.

The slacks are of the best quality. Unfortunately, I had to return them, as they were much too small for me.

The material and workmanship are good but as others have said the sizing is all over the place. They have no quality control and no size standardization. What size your pants are depends on what country it was made in. I ordered a 48 (and they are labeld 48) because of this problem and the pants I received are the exact same size as the pair of 44s I already had. They are a 44, not a 48 as labeled. The company has gown down considerably since selling the name. I would not recommend unless you are buying in store.

This is my second set of work pants, way more comfortable than jeans. These pants wear really well. My last set lasted about 5-6 years and I wear them daily.

These pants are tough as nails but look great! You can match all types of styles with these bad boys!
