Excellent coveralls! Must wash to size

    5 out of 5 stars

I live in these coveralls. Very important!!—You have to wash them to get them to size! It’s like other old-school cotton work wear. They are made such that the fabric shrinks to the listed measurements after you put it through the wash. It makes them sturdy and endlessly washable. I wash mine on cold and tumble dry on low. When they arrive they’re huge and thin, but after washing they are exactly the right size and feel sturdy. I’m 5’5” 135 and wear a Medium. I have a very high waist so they’re a little short in the crotch for me, but otherwise perfect fit. They start out a little stiff but get softer with wear. These are my go-to coveralls to keep the dirt and grime off me while I’m working. I love them! One complaint, when I’m dealing with lots of dust, there isn’t a snap at the collar so I have to use a safety-pin to secure the collar close around my neck to keep the dusk out. Other than that they are excellent work coveralls and definitely my favorite.

    Weird fit and flimsy

I'm 5'8 and 128 lbs and the medium were huge on me. Way too long, quite loose in the waist. Also, the inseam of the legs ripped after less than two MONTHS of wear. I'm a painter, so the labor wasn't even that hard. Pretty disappointing.

    Women's coveralls

I honestly like my new Dickies women's coveralls. They cover my arms so I can do my job but if I get hot I can still unzip the top and tie the arms around my waist.

    Badly designed and made.

These fit like they've been modified from a men's version. They are really long above the waist and short below it. They are also really, really long in the legs. I'm 5'2" and these were too short waisted for me and . miles too long in the inseam. Sewing was also really bad. I'd have paid more for a better product. I suspect that they don't sell enough of these to give a women's product the design attention it deserves. At the very least they could offer them in short and tall. Short women have different proportions than tall ones.

    Lightweight and Comfortable

These are great, lightweight but seem durable. I'm 5'3 ~135 lbs and I ordered a M. They fit comfortably over light clothes. They are too long, but rolling them up a little is ok to me.

    Just ok

They are way too long. I am 5’4” and I had my 6’ tall niece try them on. They fit her perfectly. So, unless you are close to 6’, you will need to roll them up (which will trap hay, shavings etc) or have them altered. The sleeves are about 5 inches too long. The other annoying thing for someone who is actually a farmer, is that there is no hook on the collar so you can hang them up. I have always used Carhartts so maybe this brand is for hobbyists and weekend gardeners. The material is comfortable and the upper portion (torso) is proportionate and comfortable.

Fits really great on the upper half, but lower half fits very large around the hip/bum area for whatever reason …super unflattering, it looks like I’m wearing a diaper lol!

Perfect size, comfy, and worked great for my Halloween costume as "Rosie the Riveter". Plus side is I will be able to use this for more than just Halloween. Definitely worth buying Dickies rather than a cheap costume type coveralls.

Fits me perfectly! I got a size medium when I usually wear large on the bottom and medium on the top, but it’s baggy so I’d suggest to size down if you are on the shorter and curvier end. I bought it for my Halloween costume, but will definitely get my use out of it in the fall/winter too.

    Too Small

I really wanted to like these as the material is nice and thick 100% cotton. I wanted to wear them to do battle with poison ivy and other house renovation/yardwork projects. The idea was to wear them over clothes and followed the size chart. Usually, I wear a size 14 in other bottoms, so I chose the XL for these coveralls. I was surprised to see that they were pretty form fit! I am 5'5" and 200lbs with a short torso and pear-ish in shape. As someone else mentioned, the zipper is weirdly hard to zip up around the waist. When it's fully zipped up, the material dug into the crotch area when trying to sit and the thighs felt tight. The length was good, and my upper body and arms felt comfortable. Overall, it looks and feels good. Removing it, was tough and after a moment of panic, was able to tug the sleeves from behind my back and slide my arms out. I'm returning and trying the cooling version because it comes in 2X
