Q: Can this scale be stored on it's side? I have a very small bathroom, so there isn't room to store it flat.

A: It is not preferred to be stored upright. If it is, it would be best before each weigh-in to recalibrate it for accuracy. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface. Before taking your first weight, calibrate your scale by stepping on your scale until it turns on, then step off. The scale will automatically turn off. Your scale is ready for use.

Q: Does this scale have to be calibrated before use? Or do I just put the batteries in and can begin to use it ?

A: Although calibrated during production, the scale needs to be 'reset' to calibration when it is initially used or moved. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface. Try to keep your scale in the same location and position and much as possible. Before taking your first weight, calibrate your scale by stepping on your scale until it turns on, then step off. The scale will automatically turn off. Your scale is ready for use.

Unfortunately I didn’t look at the reviews of this product. Weight is inaccurate. Every time I step on,it shows a different number. Worse part, I couldn’t return it because it was past 60 days??? I saw target return policy was 90 days. I only try it 3 times. Total waisted money!!!!

Inaccurate and inconsistent. Weighed myself, and then picked up a couple pound item and it said I weighed the same. Set down the item and got another completely different weight. Followed setup instructions and problem continued.

I bought this Taylor electronic scale on 12/31/2023. It stopped working on 4/17/2024. It stopped working so abruptly, I thought the batteries had died. Changing the batteries did not help. Nothing happens when we step on the scale. We hardly ever weigh ourselves, maybe once a week. Disappointed that it only lasted less than 4 months.

I'm not sure why it gets soo many bad reviews. This is basic scale that gives a very accurate number. If used properly on hard floors. Why are people using it on carpet? Buy it and get the $4 protection just in case and you'll be fine.

To get the scale to work properly-follow directions. Level flooring, press with foot to get to zero, let it clear display, then stand on evenly with both feet separated evenly apart. Once you get the hang of it then will work properly all the time. Do not move it. If you do, follow directions again to reset it. Glass is see through.

The worst scale ever. Was off by 8 pounds and not in a good way. after several attempts knowing I’m not that weight it went down. Way too much work!! Super inaccurate and didn’t realize it did not light up. Would not buy brand again.

This scale showed ridiculously faulty numbers consistently - and don't waste your time with customer service. Tried every recommended troubleshooting trick and it's still has yet to display a single weight (it jumps numbers within seconds- sometimes showing a 100 pound difference!)
