    Best fireplace ever. We looked for a long time and decided to go with the 26 inch multi fire XHD. We are by placing this in our motor coach. This heats amazing and I love that the programming lights go off so your not looking at them continuously. This is the most realistic looking fireplace we found. Love it!!!!!!

    At first we were upset because the insert we needed to fit into a 28"" space was no longer offered, so we ordered a 27"" insert and it worked out fine. We simply used the extra space as shelf space. Looks great.

    I haven't even had this firebox installed & in use for a week, and now the Temperature Cutout Switch is malfunctioning. It is cutting the heater off after only a few minutes of heat. I have yet to report this to Dimplex & see if they respond decently...

    This fireplace insert will be a real asset in our fifth wheel trailer when the weather is a little chilly and we are looking for a little comfort is just the living room, something to take the chill off. The fire looks realistic, the ceramic heater is efficient and it adds a lot of ambiance to our environment and enjoyment of our home away from home.

    Bought this about a month ago. I haven’t had a chance to put the trim work around the insert but I love it. I will be putting black marble as the trim. It has a great realistic flame with 3 light settings. I use the blue so that it looks like a gas fire. My mom has a much more expensive insert and likes my flame better.

    we got this more as a decoration than using it for heat. we wanted the fire place look without actually building one in our redecorated den area. I had to build a frame around the unit because it was a little small. The other sizes they had was too big and wouldn't work.
