Super safe but cover is SO difficult to remove!

The good: sturdy, super safe, great for 3 across and narrow seats. The bad? “Easy to remove” cover is far from it. I have owned many Chicco and Maxi Cosi seats before and this is by far the most difficult car seat cover to remove and to reapply. Car seat covers need to be very simple to remove - after all, these are for kids and kids are messy. I spent over an hour removing the cover and multiple YouTube videos and I am now trying to put it back on and it’s extremely frustrated. For this reason, I wouldn’t buy this seat again. Such a bummer for the benefits of this seat being so safe and easy to fit three across. Come on Diono, let’s do better. Make it easy to remove like Chicco’s are.

Watched the Youtube videos to get it installed and they were great. Make no mistake this seat is heavy duty. We got two in the back but there's space for another. The rebound bar is awesome, my kids now rest their feet on that instead of my leather - big win. Really cool looking seat. My son said it feels like he's in a spaceship.

So pleasantly suprised with my purchase, this seat is wonderful for any size car and can fit 3 across in any configuration. The kids love the playful colors and are comfortable in this seat! I feel confident this is the safest seat on the market considering the full steel frame. Tips for install are easily viewable on youtube. Very impressed once again by Diono!

Bought this for our 14 month old since he outgrew his infant bucket seat, also too heavy to carry him in it. Like the safety of rebound bar and the soft and comfy cushioning of seat. He's rear facing in our car. It definitely takes up space in back but was able to buy one of the accessories which helped save space for passenger. We have the older version of this model, and really like the upgrades on this one. For install, I found a video that helped.
