Q: I've read reviews online for many seat protectors leaving stains on leather seats after a while. Some have even fused onto the leather seats. Will this Diono protector have issues like that over time?

A: Hello, It will depend on how hot of a climate you live in as to whether this may adhere to the vehicle seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best car seat protector. The quality is terrific. It has already held up with chocolate bars, hair chalk and other crumby things. It could be the bulky coats but it’s slips around and then we have to readjust to get to the buckle.

We have two car seats, and only one of these mats. I uninstalled both to sell our car and the indentation under the mat is so much less pronounced. Also, rear facing kids kick so much. My leather seats are so much happier with this mat!

I bought this for a Tesla Y. The seat cover performs, fits, and looks great - much thicker than I excepted too. The cover pairs very well with its Diono seat, and it prevents typical car seat indentations in the pleather. It also catches the typical toddler messes pretty well so far, a few months in. The little storage sling is useful too, which I didn't see on many other alternatives. Always nice when products pair well and are of the same quality. 10/10 recommend.

The protector did the job of preventing food and spills but the mesh backing actually melted into the seat itself and can’t get it off the leather seat! There are black dots all over the beige leather seat now. For context, we live in Maryland.

I’ve bought the full seat cover and just the bottom and trust me, you’ll need the full one. My kids had dirty shoes when they were rear facing and this protected my seats

This is such a great necessity to save your seats. I have 2 & i love them. They work great, have lasted for years now and still in great shape. If I’d a known I was having more than 1 more child I’d love to have gotten the full seat mat which looks great if you have multiple. I absolutely love all Diono products. I cant say enough about quality and durability. I also know my kids will be safe. The color blends well and its easy to clean.

I've used other car seat protectors and they do not last. I decided to buy 2 diono car seat protectors and i am very pleased with the results. The 2 diono car seat protectors i purchased have protected my vans car seats for 3 years now. There are signs of wear on the car seat protectors but not the car seats themselves.

I bought this car seat protector for my Granddaughter's new car seat and liked it so much that I immediately ordered another one. It is well constructed and well worth the price. This mat protector could also be used for people to sit on.

We used 3 of these mats under our Radian car seats, and they completely protected our tan leather seats -- from indentations, stains, food spills, and even vomit (gross, but it happens). We used these for 3 years, removing them rarely to shake out crumbs, and we recently removed them completely as our kids graduated out of their Radians. Only slight indentations from where the car seats were, and those went away quickly. To me the only drawback is that they made installation of the 3-across car seats more complicated because I had to find a path not only between seats but through thick, overlapping mats when attaching to LATCH or buckles. But that felt like a small price to pay for the protection they offered our car.
