Q: Does this one work on thick rugs?
A: Ours doesn’t work on any rugs. The Dirt Devil support site said to return it to the store. The store says to call Dirt Devil (again).

Q: which upright vacuum has the feature where the beater brush can be stopped from spinning while vacuuming?
A: Our Razor Pet Upright Vacuum has the option to turn the brushroll on/off during use. We also have newer models Multi-Surface Extended Reach+ Upright Vacuum, Multi-Surface Total Pet+, and Multi-Surface+ Upright Vacuum that are designed to lift the brushroll up off the floor when the handle is in the upright position.

Q: Does the brush have a razor to cut long human hair? By long I mean over 2 feet so it does wrap around a vacuum brush pretty badly. Thanks.

Q: I have the Endura Max for about a year and a half. I smell some burning smell even thought the unit continues to work. Does the Endura Max motor has a temperature control (what is the maximum temperature before shut off) or a current limiting PTC or both?
