Disney and Pixar Cars Color Changer Race Ready Car Wash Playset & Color Changing Lightning McQueen

Color does not change.

My 4 yr old loves the toy but the car does not turn colors our car is only blue and was blue when we bought it through the package I ve tried super hot water and super cold nothing happens it’s just all blue other than that which is the whole reason my son loves the water play aspect of it debating on returning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with Cars. He is always playing with Mater, Lightning and Sally and this has been such a fun addition to his playtime. This does come unassembled, but took about 10 min to set up, including putting on the stickers, which my kids all had fun doing. This playset comes with 1 color changing Lightning McQueen, that changes from blue to red with hot/cold water. This feature completely amazed my 3 yr old, and he will spend quite awhile changing the colors back and forth. I see this being used a lot this summer outside by him. Another feature my son really likes it this playset connects to his Frank escape playset. It can take a few tries, but he has fun launching Lightning from that playset and getting him into the carwash. Overall this has been a really fun toy for my son, and I will be looking for more color changing Cars characters to use along with it.

Plastic junk and cheaply made, not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pixar Cars is a big hit at our house so I knew my so would love it. The car wash and race ready comes with one Lightning McQueen color changing car(blue/red), car wash, two containers for water(hot/cold). You do have to assemble it but it’s super easy and quick. Push McQueen into the car wash, dump the piston cup over which has very warm water and watch his car change colors. Push him though to the end and on his way to the next race.

It kept them entertained and engaged as they experimented with the car changing colors with warm vs. cold water. They also enjoyed pouring the water in for the car wash. This would be a great birthday gift, as it is unique and interactive.

It provides hours of fun, both for boys and girls. The instructions are very nice and user-friendly, with colorful markings and arrows. Building it, by the way, was very easy.

The carwash was great with not too much water needed. A 5 and 7 year old had no trouble adding water when needed.

For those that are very picky with details, one of the stickers had to be placed over a hole. Making it not last as long as it could. Aside from that, very durable and stable. Handles frequent use. Made for long periods of okay with water features.

We have numerous other car washes from this line, and this is the most sturdy and well thought out item. We love that it takes us back to the beginning of the Cars franchise. The accessory car seems to color change better than other cars previously provided. 100% would recommend for all ages! Use it in the bathtub, outside, or in the sink!

The “track” that you move the car along gives another fun play aspect to the toy, other than just the water feature. It was easy to assemble and great quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to give this a 5 stars. My kiddo loves this and so do I, but can be slightly messy. I love that hot water goes from the Piston Cup to the right container. Just wish there was an easier kid proof/spill proof way to pour the water from the container to the Piston Cup. But love this. The concept is great. Easy to put together. Just like a real carwash!

An if u have other Cars road peices they can be added on to it too. The water part still makes a mess but it’s what u except with kids an toys. Anyway this was a pretty neat toy for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pixar Cars carwash set is awesome. the set comes with a Lightening mcqueen that changes color. When you put hot water it changes to blue and when you put cold water it changes to red. The product is sturdy. Assembling the set is very easy it aslo comes with stickers. My only recommendation is to play with it outside as it gets pretty messy with water. It is a great car wash set my kids really enjoyed playing with it.
