Disney Animators' Collection Littles Sleeping Beauty Aurora Cottage Playset

This is a gift. Not sure how to review a christmas gift.

This looks amazing think my kid is gonna love her Santa present. Bought it in sale can’t beat the price. This would be cute for adults that are fans of the movies not just kids

The toy is way smaller than expected. Also, the Box came broken.

I thought it would be helpful to include a photo of this product next to an adult human hand. Cute, but it is small, like Pollys. Definitely a choking hazard for the very little ones who are still sticking everything in their mouths. Wish these were Little People size. Taking it back.

Not fully sure if I bought this for myself or my daughter but we both love it! Docked a star because it is very tiny. I knew my 3 year old would be fine with this because she has Polly pockets - Would definitely recommend knowing how your child is with very small pieces before purchasing because each piece is very tiny. Some flimsy pieces but overall what I expected.

This set is cute, and my daughter likes it, but the quality is not great. There’s such inconsistency/lack of attention to detail when it comes to the characters. One fairy is huge while the other two are much smaller; the owl is bigger than any of the other figures. Also, the mystery piece in our set turned out to be just a small stool - really not that exciting?? Unfortunately, one of Merriweather’s wings was broken, but that isn’t the manufacturers fault. It’s cute and I like that the whole set is easily self-contained in the cottage, which is very pretty. I had just hoped for somewhat better quality for the characters.

I absolutely love my Disney Littles Animator's Collection Briar Rose cottage! It's sooo cute and I love the glitter on the roof and Briar Rose's skirt. My mystery piece was a glittery squirrel, which I love! A very cute set and pretty when set on the shelf. I know these were marketed as toys, but I think if you look closely they aren't really supposed to be played with, just displayed. Definitely NOT for young kids. This series is called the "Animator's Collection" and the pieces are meant to be a diorama. That's why Flora is so big compared to the other fairies -- it's for forced perspective when displaying the set! :) I can see how it would be confusing for kids, though. The Good: - Adorable figures - Great price - Artistic interpretation of the source material that looks good when displayed The Bad: - Like many other reviews state, the water wheel on the cottage is quite loose and doesn't sit straight - The strange sizing of the figures might be confusing to children - My Briar Rose came with paint scuffed off of her bodice -- nothing I can't fix with a little black acrylic paint, but worth noting

In summary, it is good but not great. I expected more for the price and from Disney. Just feels like a “B rated” toy - like it is so close to being awesome but misses the mark. Really only keeping because it’s sleeping beauty themed but I wish it was better. For those wondering, the people are roughly the size of a Lego person, maybe a little bigger. Pros: - sleeping beauty themed (hard to find sometimes) - came with most major characters Cons: - it is rather small. I wish that the house did not have an upstairs. Then it would be easier to arrange the people in the house. It is awkward to get people in the top or bottom level so the kids usually play around the house. - all the “moving items” do not work too well. Front door isn’t easy to open. Dress is very awkward and hard to rotate. The water wheel gets stuck. - my 6.5 yr old is unable to open the back of the house - similar to other reviews, not sure why one fairy is sooo much bigger. And the owl is huge compared to other pieces. - mystery piece was a sparkly squirrel. It doesn’t look like it matches the set bc it is made of a different material, lacks any details, and is a much cheaper material. Also, it is very too heavy and has tiny feet so it falls over a lot. My kids were hoping for the raven, Philips horse, or the spinning wheel. It’s unfortunate that you are unable to purchase additional pieces. Like sleeping beauty in a link to blue dress, the raven, etc… We also bought the Aladdin one and felt the same. Good but could be better.

These are so cute! They are definitely collectibles, the detail is so good on all of the figures and houses. Love the vintage look of them!

I bought the sleeping beauty and tangled play sets as a surprise for a trip. My daughters (almost 3 and 5) played with them every single day on the trip and when we got home. These are the best size for traveling!

My daughters love these - they are 3 and 2 and have a lot of fun playing with. Larger than Pollypocket, fun for their ages.

My daughter loves this set and constantly asks me to open it (tough for her to open the cottage on her own). Others have mentioned the size of Flora which is the one thing that bothers me about the set- she is much bigger than the others. The “mystery” piece we got was just a little stool which was disappointing but cute enough as Merriweather can stand on it as she does in the movie. Overall it’s been a hit.

Love this toy! It’s just so cute. And thankfully, my 2.5 & 4 yo feel the same way and have been playing with it nonstop. They love Sleeping Beauty, and keep recreating scenes from the movie, or making up their own(like trapping the owl under a cup lol)! Love the size and aesthetic-wish it was a little cheaper. I’m buying the frozen storybook lego set for my two year old, so we’ll see how it compares. I’m nervous the latch will break like other reviews said, which is really the reason I bought this play set:because it can be self contained and taken on trips. Hopefully it holds up because they really love it! Otherwise we’ll find a pencil case to store the little pieces.

The item is so cute and I love that it has the dress that spins from blue to pink. Ive been a fan of the movie for a long time and was thrilled to add it to my disney animator collection. Mine had the wheel on the side a bit angled off, but it didnt bother me.
