Disney Baby Disney MagicSquad 3-in-1 Harnessed Booster Car Seat

This car seat was super easy to put together and install, with clear instructions for 3 modes in the manual. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The fabric is so soft and comfortable, my son was so excited to sit in it especially because of Mickey! My favorite features are the soft cushion behind the strap that goes between the legs, I haven't had that on any previous car seats and I really appreciate the additional comfort it will provide. Also the removable and dishwasher safe cup holders! I also love that it's a 3 in 1 and erases the need for additional booster seats.

My daughter says this car seat is much more comfortable than her last convertible car seat that we've been using. There is a ton of cushion, which makes it super comfortable, even for long car rides. She has more room in this seat, even though it doesn't take up any extra space. It's nice that it has two cup holders for drinks and snacks or activities. It took about 15 minutes to unbox and install and was fairy simple. So far, the only negative that I have is the button to release the buckle is hard to push. I'm not sure if it will loosen up and get easier over time? And I'm not really a huge fan of the look of the car seat. I would prefer one that does not have a Mickey Mouse design, but my daughter really likes that part. First off, I was lucky enough to receive this booster seat through the Stellar Review Panel. Normally, I wouldn't buy anything Disney-branded, but the design on the Mickey Blogger is so subtle, that I don't mind. It looks like a nice red and black seat. This seat is exceptionally lightweight! I thought it would be nice for flying since it's so light and easy to move around. Another thing that I liked was, as shown in my photo, the cover on the back lifts up to make it easier to run the belt through the back. This is much more convenient than trying to fumble through not being able to see where the seatbelt is. I think this might be the easiest seat to install that we have. My 4 year old was very excited about the new seat. He says it's comfy and likes the cup holders. Some things that I didn't like are the harness belts. They seem to get twisted up a lot more often and quicker than our other car seats. I'm a little dubious about the safety, again, compared to a full car seat. The chest buckle is thinner and, because the seat is lighter, I'm not sure what that means for impact absorption. In full disclosure, I haven't had the time to do all the research on it yet, but, to appease my nervous mind, I'll likely switch back to a full car seat for longer drives. I am a bit crazy for safety and I might just not be used to a booster seat yet. Another aspect I didn't like was that I couldn't get the LATCH belt tight enough. I like the double anchors, but I did need to use the car seatbelt in order to get the seat secure enough. My son says that he feels bumps more in this seat, which makes me wonder if it's less padded than his old car seat. If you love Disney, are used to a booster seat, and are looking for something lightweight and easy, this would be a good choice. I would recommend this for air travel and for a seat needed to switch easily between multiple cars.

We were in the market for a second seat for my almost four year old, so I was super excited to receive this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The good, It's our first time not being in a rear facing convertible, so the sleek design was well received! My daughter feels like such a big kid and loves the Mickey Mouse images. We all love the cup holders! The buckles and exposed harness button are so easy to use. There's not digging around in a hole with your finger to release the harness. It's a feature I didn't even know I needed. The seat is easy to adjust to get the right fit on your child. The so-so, I had a fairly hard time getting a tight install on this seat. It has no features to help with install and is narrow at the belt path, which placed the latch system release button at a difficult angle for tightening. The bad, Since the carseat can convert to a booster, the top and bottom detach from one another. My problem with it is that they don't have any kind of latching mechanism to keep them together when using it as a forward facing harnessed seat, the top just kind of hooks into the bottom. If you're carrying the car seat for any reason they easily detach from each other causing a bit of a mess with the harness stringing through both of them and it's just awkward to hold it all together. It's a super lightweight seat and I would of loved to use it as a spare for anyone who may be driving my daughter or for airplane travel, but because of the two pieces easily coming apart its not a seat I want to move from car to car often or carry around. The manual also specifies that it cannot be used in an airplane as a booster, but doesn't say if it's approved for airplane use as a forward facing harnessed seat. Lastly, the seat is very basic with not much cushion or padding. All in all it's a decent and safe seat, but it's missing some essential features for me.

The seat is wonderful, easy to set up, easy to transition from one stage to the next! We love the subtle Mickey theme! My only issue is that I do not like the latch system on this seat, they are very hard to disconnect once the seat is tight in place. We will be using a seatbelt install with this seat. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My initial impression of the car seat was that the plastic frame felt to be of lesser quality than other car seats I've used, but the padding felt like it would be comfortable enough for my child and my child agreed. I'm a mom of 2 (soon to be 3) kiddos. This is the 6th car seat I've had experience installing and using and the 4th different brand I've tried. I am conservative when it comes to car seat safety. I did not switch my children to forward facing car seats until they were 3 and did not move my son to a booster until he turned 5 even though they met the height and weight limits sooner. Below is a list of pros and cons I compiled after testing the product. Pros: *Versatility - This seat can be used as a 5-point harness, high back booster with seatbelt, or backless booster with seatbelt. It could be a good transitional seat if you're not quite ready for a booster with the seatbelt, but will be soon. *Easy to clean - the cover is easily removed and can be washed. *Lightweight Cons: *Installation - the bottom anchor belt system is poorly designed in my opinion. The anchor belt starts on the outside of the car seat and has to be wrapped around the back of the seat, then through the inside belt path to tether it on the opposite side (as shown in my photos). This causes the strap to become twisted, making it really hard to tighten enough to keep the seat in place. This can be avoided if you're using the 5 point harness and securing the seat with the seatbelt, but I prefer to use tethered anchor systems. *Quality - as mentioned, the plastic frame of the car seat feels somewhat cheap and not as sturdy as other car seats I've used. Overall, this isn't my favorite car seat. I plan to use this as a secondary booster seat for my 5 year old and think it will be fine for that. I would not be comfortable using this as an everyday 5 point harness car seat for my younger son (age 3).

I wanted to love this 3 in 1 car seat/booster because I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, it was cute, and so versatile - in theory. We spent 30 minutes trying to install the seat in forward facing mode with the harness to where it would be sturdy and safe for our daughter. At no point could we get the seat strapped into the car to where it was snug and unmoving. Something was always loose. For that reason, we didn't even get to try it on a real ride because we are not convinced of its safety. Pros: it is light and my kids were excited to see it with the retro Mickey on the headrest. We will most likely give it another go in a few weeks, but as this is not our first rodeo in car seat installation, it was surprisingly difficult and unreliable at installation and that's a major drawback when utilizing a product that is for child safety.

As a family of 5, we've been through our fair share of car seats. They come in so many shapes and sizes, color options and ability to be versatile (or not). When we were first time parents, I remember car seat shopping was daunting! Now on our third babe, we've really figured out what works best for our family and thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel , trying out this Disney Baby Magic Squad 3 In 1 Booster Car Seat has elevated our car seat game! By receiving this car seat to try out, it gave us an entirely new perspective on car seats. For starters, we aren't Disney fans nor have any Disney merch however, the pattern and design on this car seat is so minimal that it made zero impact on the products likability. The design is sleek and so is the size. It fits our 4 year old perfectly, keeping her safe and nestled without feeling cramped. We have a mid size SUV with captain seats and one seat of the third row up. The car seat fits perfectly in the captain seat, while allowing ample room for our 6 year old to get to the third row. There is no unnecessary bulk to this seat and the two cup holders are prime for our daughter. Most importantly it's very easy to install! Along with safety, that's critical to us especially when we switch car seats between cars. The straps are comfortable and easy to manage and adjust. There's no excessive pulling or straining needed to adjust this seat. Our 4 year old can also easily buckle herself which makes getting out of the house so much easier. While she still uses the full seat and harness, we broke down the car seat to just the booster in a breeze. It will be such an amazing transition seat. Having a seat that covers all the bases really makes life with a big family easier. It's also really easy to clean! Unless you are truly against any sort of design on your car seats, I don't have a single reason not to recommend this seat to a friend. This combination seat is fantastic in many ways! It would make a great travel seat for using in different vehicles, it is lightweight & narrow, or as a primary seat. I absolutely love the lower anchor weight limit of 55lbs! Installing the seat took less than 5 minutes to get a proper fit. The fabric is very soft, smooth, lightweight, (& doesn't pill!) & easy to wash. The removable dishwasher safe cup holders are a game changer for an easy quick clean up. The headrest & strap covers are super plush making it great for kids who sleep in the car. It has such easy smooth buckles to open & close that they are the best on any seat I have. The two booster seat modes give a great fit on age appropriate kids. The top harness strap/booster belt guide height isn't the highest but it still provides a great fit for most kids; if there were a couple extra taller headrest heights it would be the perfect seat! I also love the low sides so my child can get in on her own. I have to mention again how easy & fast it is to clean & install this seat! The colors & Mickey Mouse designs on the cover are a huge bonus, it has become my child's favorite seat. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this seat!

I received this 3-in-one car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love how simple and slim this car seat is. The third row seating in my SUV is narrow and this seat fits perfectly! My 6 year old uses this and his only complaint was a little hard spot in the middle of his back. Luckily this seat comes with a removable cushion for their lower back, as well as the option to remove the entire back into a simple booster seat! Overall, I'm quite happy with this car seat and I think it's very with its price!

We were so excited to get this seat from Stellar Panel product testing in the mail! It's design is so slim and sleek, very easy to get out of the box and came all assembled. The mickey mouse ears were enough to get my daughter excited. The seat was fairly easy to install, the lower latches gave a little trouble but not top bad. I love that this seat will grow with her.

He is at the point where we are almost ready to transition to a booster but he's not quite there yet. This seat will grow perfectly with us and doesn't sit as high off the seat as our all in one car seat does. It is a five point harness for now but you can take off the harness and transition to a backed or unbacked booster using the seatbelt. It has a lot of additional padding and easily accessible cup holders(really like the cup holders actually!) Drawback: This buckle is harder for my 4 year old to unbuckle himself. He struggled with our other car seat too so it's possible that he just needs more adjustment time (we've had this about two weeks). It's really only for this reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of five.

My first impression when unboxing was the exceptional quality of the car seat. It was easy to assemble and install in my vehicle. As a mother of two toddlers, I needed something safe yet simple to install with ease, and this was both! I love that this is a 3-in-1 car seat, which makes for a quick and easy switch when I need to change it up for my oldest child. Both of my children commented on how comfortable they felt while strapped in. Not only did they rave about the Mickey Mouse design, but they adored the color too because it matches our vehicle! I definitely think this is the new favorite car seat with the kids. Another great thing about this car seat is that I noticed it is actually very easy to spot clean. I was able to clean it easily without having to put very much effort into it, which is a huge bonus for me! My overall opinion is very satisfactory, and I would definitely recommend it to someone who is in the market for a new car seat! The price is good, and the product is even better!

I think the Disney design for this 3-in-1 harness- booster car seat, I received as a part of the Stellar Testing Panel, is very cute. My granddaughter age 6, was very excited to have a Mickey themed seat. I like that it is a 3 in 1 capacity. It's hard to find a high back booster that converts to a no back booster that also has harness ability. It is lightweight in comparison to other 5 pt harness convertible car seats. It is however, cumbersome. I definitely have to handle it with both hands. Installation was easy, I prefer the anchors. The instruction manual clearly states weight limits on anchor usage over the seatbelt for the harness mode. What I don't like about the seat is how flimsy it is. It can't sit upright on its own. Which, I'm sure contributed to it being lightweight. But if I'm traveling with this seat or taking it in and out of my car for any reason, having it tip over is a huge pet peeve for me. I also took it apart to get a feel for what converting it between the different modes consisted of and it was quite the chore messing with the straps. Taking the harness straps both off and threading them back on took a lot more time than I expected. I actually had to find a video online for assistance on rethreading and I couldn't find this exact seat, thankfully I found a similar Safety 1st video to assist me. I wish the manual had a QR code with a very clear video demonstrating how to transition in between seat modes. I also don't like how the back "clicks" into the seat, I don't hear an audible click and it rocks quite a bit and makes me question the integrity of the seat. All in all, convenient seat that can last through all your child's different safety needs. Just needs clearer assembling instructions and to be a bit more sturdy.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this car seat to me to review. I have to start off by saying if I purchased it myself it would going back to the store. From unboxing the item it was difficult to install. The instructions are minimal and after spending nearly an hour trying to tighten the anchor system I gave up and installed it with the seat belt. I was so looking forward to this car seat because it's a 3 in 1 but it's a no. I spend a lot of time in the car with my kids and within 30mins of being in the seat my 4 year old complains it's too hard. The padding is very very thin and I certainly don't blame her. As a busy parent I have enough planning and calculating to get my kids in the car. A comfortable and reliable car seat is a must and for that I do not reccomend this for kids who spend d a lot of time in the car.

Overall, we were really impressed with this car seat! We liked the simplicity of the design and the padding felt soft and supportive. The seat fit easily in both our truck and SUV and took less than 5 minutes to install. It was easy to get our toddler in and out of the seat relatively quickly. The buckle was a bit tricky to get used to at first as you have to push the button in order to release rather than pinch inward. We love that there are two cup holders making it much easier for our toddler to access his snacks and drink. We do love that it transitions into a booster seat and will grow with our child! So glad we were able to test this product out through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I will start by saying this……If I were a kid, I would be happy to have this as my "ride". Firstly, the seat is extremely easy to slide out of the box, assemble and install into the car. It has a very good rugged sturdy feel while at the same time offers some amazing cushioning in places that I wished my past carseats had for my child's comfort. Mainly, inbetween the crotch strap and the supporting head cushions are great! Past carseats have lacked in these areas so I would always feel like my kids had nowhere to rest their head when they fell asleep in the car. This seat definitely provides extraordinarily cushion. I have not had to wash yet but materials appear to remove and wash very easily. The center buckle is nice and big, secure and solid. I have carpel tunnel so I found the main release button a tad hard to push in but Im not sure that is something that would be an issue for the average person. That being said, Id rather it be harder than easier to release. I received this product to review as part of the STELLAR testing panel and I must say I am considering replacing my other two children's seats with these as well. Very satisfied.

I received this product through the Stellar Testing Panel. My overall impression of this product was that it looked big but it was actually pretty light! I like the design and the padding is very nice. It is roomy and comfortable for my toddler (she will be five in less than a month). The installation wasn't as challenging as some other reputable brands I've used in the past. It was actually pretty convenient without any hassle. This is definitely a carseat for a taller bigger child though. I feel that this is a safe seat for my daughter and would recommend to others. I can't wait to test out the other stages of this car seat as she grows!

I received this product for free for my honest review. The Disney Baby MagicSquad 3-in-1 Harness Booster Car Seat is not just a beautiful car seat, but it is absolutely safe. I would not put my kids in a risky situation, that is why I always follow all safety rules when it comes to cars. This car seat is a great investment, my kid will be able to use it in all 3 stages. It was very easy to install and the instructions were not really needed, except that I like to be on the safe side, and like I mentioned before I would rather do everything needed when it comes to my children's safety. The colors of the car seat I received are perfect for my boys and even if I had a girl I know I would still pick this same colors. The red really stands out and being a Mickey Mouse inspired car seat, I know most kids would be very excited to have one, at least my kids are.
