My granddaughter already considers Ariel to be her favorite princess so the package was the first win. She is partial to the hair and the sand. We have not bathed with it yet as this is the test. As far as parent friendly, I realize with the way the world is today the reason behind all the bands and snaps, but it really is a nuisance when a child is super excited to get into play. I gave this a 5 star for the visibility factor for the child and hours of enjoyment and imagination this brings.

Sadly she tends to try and eat the kinetic sand so she could only play with it for a short time before I had to take it away from her but, she had fun with it non-the-less. It is her new favorite bath toy, because Ariel needs to swim!!

When it was first opened, it was played with for 2 straight hours. We love how the sand can be kept in a package and it makes it fun to have Ariel in her own little pool. I see hours of fun ahead in our future!

It was entertaining to play with in the living room (although maybe providing a little more sand would be nice) and my daughter even loved taking Ariel and some of the small pieces into the bath to play with! Ariel had worked her way into one of the top five of their favorite toys currently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy works great indoor and outdoor. We spent hours outside letting Ariel build sandcastles and splash in the shell pool. My only recommendation would be to add a little more sand. It’s a great year round toy though.

My granddaughter and grandson were soooo bored with their old toys and when this came they were ecstatic! As soon as they grabbed it out of the box, they started to play... Lorelai with the Ariel Doll with accessories and Logan grabbed the Moldable sand. WOW! they stayed busy the whole day. Of course, Ariel's hair had to be brushed and braided and the moldable sand had to go thru a series of metamorphosis of different creatures in the sea.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really enjoyed this Ariel doll, not only is it one of her all time favorite princesses, it's also a really high quality doll. This set comes with a lot of accessories around using the moldable sand, it was really thoughtful to include the large clam shell to contain the mess. Moldable sand isn't too bad since it sticks together and cleans up well, but the clam keeps it in one area. The accessories were a lot of fun for her to play with and I think she'll be pulling out this set pretty often to enjoy.

The play sand makes this Disney Princess so much fun and engaging - can hide the little gems that come with it as well. The sand mold pieces are a lot of fun - this is well put together figure with so many extras that are sure to captivate the attention. Ariel “Little Mermaid” also has a shell that she can swim in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Disney Princess Ariel Doll set is absolutely adorable. The Ariel doll is super realistic and beautiful. The tail for the mermaid fins snaps in easily and has not come out, even with rough play. One thing i was not a huge fan of originally, is that Ariel's hair was crunchy, like there was a lot of product in it to keep the hair curled. Its gotten better after being exposed to water. The shell is great and holds a lot of water. The kinetic sand is great quality and fills the treasure chest perfectly. The little flounder and crab molds are great, too. I love all the accessories, my only complaint is that the starfish and fork don't fit well on the doll's hands. My kids loves this set. It would make a great gift for kids who love Ariel. Highly recommend it.

I love that the moldeable sand can be used with or without the doll and include the chest to keep it when not in use. It is so neat to see my daughter enjoying something like I had in my childhood. The sand accessories are adorable and included the beloved characters of Sebastian and flounder. I would have to say it is my favorite though that the dinglehopper is included.

I think we enjoyed both, but for their unique purposes and not together. Maybe would have felt more tied together if for example some of Ariel's friends were more part of the sand set (molds, tools, etc). How about a dinglehopper sand rake?!

The sand she likes as well but she was a little confused where it should go when she plays. She put the sand in the sea shell with water, and sometimes out of the shell. She loves everything about the Ariel doll, and the accessories are excellent additions to her pretend play.

My almost 4 year old was able to play with both the sand and water at our kitchen table with little mess. She absolutely loved playing with the moldable pink sand! It was very easy for her to pack the sand into the sandcastle, Flounder, and Sebastian molds that were included. The Ariel doll is beautiful with a sparkling pink fin and vibrant red hair! Ariel sits nicely on her own and can even sit on the side of the seashell pool without it tipping over. All-in-all this has provided hours of fun for my daughter, her only request was for more sand!
