Q: does it have to connect to Bluetooth or can it store stories ?

A: It does not store any stories. Or anything at all really. It’s essentially a Bluetooth speaker. You also need to have a paid music subscription app on your phone like Apple Music, Spotify or Amazon Music to access the stories. Then you play the stories on your phone and the $50 tool acts like a speaker with lights. Awful product. Save your money!!

Easy to Bluetooth. Pretty decent sound for a little kid speaker. I like the sleep timer function. I do not like that I can’t access the stories that I want in to hear or in the correct order for free. I assumed that it was a storyteller and had stories that it would connect to for free. Nope you have to pay for Apple Music or premium services. You can hear whatever stories Spotify chooses to shuffle for you but good luck picking your own. For example my daughter wants to hear Frozen. I find frozen and click on it. Nope it’s in multiple parts and part of a playlist of other things and of all things it shuffles. But work around is find your own stories and bluetooth them through.
