Won't unroll completely to walk. My six year old daughter has been wanting this toy for a long time. She saved up and bought it yesterday. She rolled it up maybe three or four times and now it won't unroll the head section so it's back to flat. In the stuck position it can't walk. She's so disappointed.

Here are the directions on how to do it. 1)Turn upside down. Switch battery pack to "Off" position. 2)Push up front and back ends of shell 3)Snap back in place 4)Roll Tuk Tuk around. 5)Press release button to open Tuk Tuk, this will unroll Tuk Tuk for Play Mode 1 6)Push front and back body outwards until there is a click sound. Once Tuk Tuk is flat and locked into place he can be activated for Play Mode 1. Easy to operate and super cute!! My one year old great niece loves Tuk Tuk. Being the “great” aunt, I had to get this for her. It was the highlight of our Christmas celebration. Everyone wanted to play with it.

The packaging is misleading. I purchased this with the impression that it walked AND rolled by itself, but you have to manually fold it into a ball and roll it, if it even stays closed, it constantly pops open. Also, the sound it makes sounds robotic and not at all like the sound tuk tuk actually makes. They definitely missed the mark on this one.

This is labeled for 3+ but all it does is take a few steps until the button is pushed again, make groaning sounds, and can be made into a ball. Even when positioned into a ball the locking mechanism does not hold well. It pops open the min you try to play with it or set it down. Sorry but this toy misses the mark. My dog finds this more interesting than my 3 year old.

Does not stay open after a few uses. Even ordered a replacement and it broke the same exact way after one day. Doesn’t work anymore- and won’t walk. Awful design! I would not recommend

Bought one, and after it had been rolled up, it wouldn’t fully open back up. Bought a second one, thinking the first was a fluke, and the same thing happened. We’ll be returning both.

Once rolled up he unrolled and never walked again. And to make it worse he sounded like a zombie. I changed batteries and still the thing didn’t work. Christmas morning fun lasted all of 4 minutes. Pretty disappointed. I’m planning to return.

Tuk Tuk is made with soft materials even his shell is made of soft fabric. You can even roll him into a ball. Tuk Tuk even walks and makes noise when you press his button. Tuck Tuk Tuk into his shell and he’ll stay curled up. The toy is very well made.

He rolls up into a ball to roll around but, for him to tuck and roll, you must fold him until it clicks into place, then roll him around. Super cute!

We liked that you could fold it and latch it closed to play with it like a ball. the latch did have trouble staying closed though after a little bit of use. My kid didn’t mind so much, though. It does walk but not very smoothly in my opinion. So overall I would say it’s a cute find if your kid likes the character but it could have better functionality.

My 4 and 1 year old loved it, for the day. Now it just sits in the toy box. Is doesn’t do much but walk around… I went to dig it out after a few days of not being touched, and the batteries were dead again! What gives? on the third set of batteries in 2 weeks. We absolutely loved the movie, but I’m certainly less than impressed with the toy.
