Q: I have used these cups for a year now and had no problems with them. The last batch, order the seam at the bottom leaks, breaks down after just second use with coffee. I did not microwave the cup. Why

Grabbed these at Target and didn’t even notice the new lids until we went to use them! They slide open/closed- great for walking or driving with a full cup of coffee or cocoa so it doesn’t spill. Also helps keep it hot. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the styrofoam cup & plastic lid seep into your drink as it’s hot, you can taste it. But that’s what comes from a disposable cup I guess. Only used them a few times but so far so good, no leaking or seepage. Lids stayed on securely.

I am requesting to return this item. They are nowhere as good as the old version. There is no protection from the heat when you are holding them due to the new fabrication, so you will likely burn your fingers. The lid does not stay on as well either. Mine came off just now and my coffee spilled onto me and scalded my hand - I dropped it in reaction to that and spilled it everywhere. Bring the old version back!
