Q: Can this be used as 10 drops in steaming water to alleviate lung issues? Tea tree is a known antifungal and I've been told this treatment cures acute fungal infections. is it safe to breathe this way?
A: Thank you for your inquiry about De La Cruz Australian Tea Tree Oil. Although Tea Tree Oil is known for its beneficial properties, the FDA has not approved it for use as a treatment for lung or skin infections. We recommend you speak with your doctor about a treatment for your specific symptoms.

Q: Does this work for foot fungus?
A: Thank you for your question. We don't recommend Tea Tree Oil for foot fungus and suggest you try Derman Anti-Fungal 1.76 oz. Foot Cream or Silka Athlete's Foot Antifungal Cream 1 oz. Both are available at select Target stores and on Target.com.

Also, this product should be diluted prior to using on the skin for any reason. Dilute the oil with a carrier oil, such as olive oil, coconut oil, or almond oil. For every 1 to 2 drops of tea tree oil, add 12 drops of a carrier oil.

Q: Can this product be used on the skin, including delicate skin areas, for cleanliness, freshness, elimination of any odor? I've been using Trader's Joe's brand tea tree oil for this purpose successfully to date. Thank you.
