I love this knife sharpener! It automatically adjusts to my knives edge. I didn't realize how dull my knife was until I sharpened it. I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been useful mostly for larger knives. Works great for a chef knife. Kitchen knives and filet knives work best in this sharpener due to its fixed Angle. No complaints other than non adjustable angle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been testing the Simple Sharp Diamond sharpener. Overall, this is a good sharpener, and it does just that, I sharpened a very dull kitchen knife, and it gave me a good bevel that improved the knifes sharpness. However, things to know before buying this knife: first; this is a manual sharpener, it took some time to get to sharp, next once you sharpen the bevel it will cut but you will need an extra step to refine the edge and hone on by another process. Also, there were no instructions in the package, and it took a little bit of time to figure how to use it. But if you struggle in sharpening a knife and getting a good bevel, this device will definitely help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SimpleSharp Diamond Sharpener is quick and simple to use and easy to clean. When using, it sits securely on a flat counter without slipping, but must be held in place. Although you have to rotate the sharpener when using for a second set of swipe throughs, with its two stone system, it effectively sharpens a dull, straight edged knife with ease. This is a product that I will use repeatedly, as needed, but I don't like the placement of the non-slip grips, which I feel are dangerously placed on either side of the knife opening and can lead to accidental injury.
Highly Recommend this blade sharpener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect knife sharpener to have around the house. Can be used easily and sharpens your knives without much effort. Be sure to follow the directions and angle the knives appropriately. My suggestion would be to try it out on knives you dont use as often first. Bottom of the sharpener has a non slide surface which is really helpful when you are aligning the knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great household sharpener. Great size. Use it to sharpen different sized kitchen knives. Some of the knives were really dull because I haven't used them in a while and the sharpener did a very good job and get the sharp again. I tried sharpening a serrated knife, that didn't go so well. All in all, a great kitchen tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice sharpener. Really easy to use. I like to go side to side when sharpening my blades. You can see on the blade the run off from sharpening it. Made my knife sharper than it was in just a few pull downs. It's very attractive as well. Small enough to not take up very much space. Makes sharpening knifes so much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knife sharpening has never been this easy. You get a consistently get a sharp edge with this. One hand on the knife and one on the sharpener. It takes very little pressure, and with just a few strokes the knife is sometimes sharper than when it was new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hand held Sharpener. I tested a bad blade (chipped) to see how it would be impacted upon sharpening it. It worked very well. Was able to sharpen the blade even if it was "chipped". Keep in mind, Diamonds tend to erode blades.
Easy to use. Looks nice, small in a good way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight weight, but heavy enough to give good stability when sharpening. The base, sides have no-slip material for a sure grip while sharpening. The diamond V-shaped sharpener is safely enclosed in the housing and sharpens both edges at the same time. Simple to use and the sharpener auto adjusts to the current knife angle. Easily sharpens a wide variety of knife sizes and shapes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handy sharpener that is easy to use with only one hand. Unlike the tungsten carbide sharpeners that removes to much material, it uses 2 diamond stones instead. Stays steady on the counter due to a nonslip base.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this sharpener to my son as a gift. He had asked why our knives could slice a tomato so cleanly while his made a royal mess. I told him to run his knife through the sharpener a few times and tell us how it went. He said, "this thing is idiot proof." He finally has thin slices on his sandwiches.
A nice, inexpensive sharpener with one issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've been wanting a convenient kitchen knife sharpener for a while. Something that wasn't one of those drag-through carbide ones though. Those really don't seem like the type to use if you care much about your knives. I saw this one and thought: "Hey, perfect. Let's try it out." I've been a big fan of DMT sharpeners for over a decade. I've had the black (coarse) and blue (medium) bench stones for a really long time now, and they still work very well. I also have one of the extra fine diamond plates that I bought around the same time, and that one is still one of my favorite sharpening stones. So I was quite excited to try this out. It turns out I'm a bit disappointed, if I'm honest. So the idea of this sharpener is really good, I think. Use smaller versions of the DMT diamond stones in a V shape, pull-through kitchen counter sharpener. It feels _okay_ for the most part. I'd be more impressed with some extra weight in the base, but it's not too bad. There's quite a lot of flex in the top portion, due to the fact that it's a very thin molded plastic. That's not a super big deal, but once again it adds to the feeling of an inexpensive product. Which, to be honest, this is. This is not a premium kitchen knife sharpener, and as such shouldn't be judged to that standard. Okay, so it's a bit of a budget model. That's alright. For the currently listed price I think the build quality is quite good. But how well does it work? That's the real question. Well, pretty well, I'd say. Except for one thing. One kind of big thing... So, the way this is designed is that the two little diamond plates/stones are held in a V shape and you drag the knife through. The outer casing keeps your knife straight up and down so you don't end up cutting one side more than the other. That works well enough, but the big issue I see is the fact that there are only two cutting surfaces; one on each side. They are just under an inch wide each, there is about 1/4 inch between them and there is about 1/4 of an inch from the edge of each cutting surface to the outside of the cover.. Why is this a problem? Because this means that when you drag a typical kitchen knife through there is about 1.5 inches on the right side of the blade towards the handle that will never see a sharpening stone. And that is... not ideal. I'm not sure about you, but when I prep food for cooking I tend to use whatever part of my knife remains the sharpest from the last sharpening or honing, and with this sharpener there will a 1.5 inch section of any blade that will never be properly sharp. I think they could solve this (or at least mitigate it) by having additional, smaller sharpening surfaces on each side in an alternating pattern. That is the primary reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. There are a couple of other small issues I also have though. It claims to automatically adjust to the angle of the blade you're sharpening, but I don't see how that could be possible. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but the sharpening plates push apart equidistantly the harder you push down while pulling a blade through, but they never actually change the angle they make to each other. This means that if your knife edge isn't already at this angle or shallower, you'll only ever be abrading the side of the edge until you reach the apex, which would take quite a long time for most knives. The other small issue is the somewhat sloppy way the sharpening plates are affixed to the base, through the sliding mechanism. It just feels like it could have much tighter tolerances. So, it's not all bad though. Those are just the things I felt needed some focus. I don't think a customer would appreciate not knowing that ahead of time. There is also a lot of good though. I do think it should last a long time. Like I said, I've had diamond stones from this company, that look pretty much identical to the ones in this product but bigger that have lasted me well over a decade without wearing out completely. And even if they do, these are replaceable. And they're replaceable from a brand that's been around a long time and not likely to go anywhere any time soon. Compared to some brands that pop up and disappear after 6 months. I also like that the mechanism that allows the surfaces to be pushed apart means that you'll be able to use a larger area of the cutting surface, rather than a very narrow strip that would probably wear out really quickly. So, I will be using this for the foreseeable future, with my less dear knives, at least. And I don't doubt it'll last years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is easy to operate. It worked very well on the wife's kitchen knives they were abused and would not cut. After using this sharpener the knives would cut paper.Pering knives are to short to have a edge when used. Other than that I really like this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener is one of the best that I have used .. super easy and I really like the sharpening stones … I feel like the fine grit sharpens like a champ … the only thing that would make this better is if it had a suction cup the hold it on the counter… but very easy to use
