Doctors Best High Absorption Magnesium works very well. Several family members in our household use this one with no issues. Only one tablet needed. Twelve hours later, bowels move great proving that this definitely works very well. We also order the capsules because of less ingredients/additives. It would be nice to see the tablets being made with less additives, in the future. We are grateful for the affordability and effectiveness of this product.

I see so many people leaving bad reviews commenting on the size when it should be reviewed by effectiveness. I have an extremely hard time swallowing pills. So, I take one of these babies, and cut it in 4s! I get 4 pieces from 1 pill and it's soooo much easier to swallow. my daughter just cuts then in half and has no issues but I still found that a tad big for me. I take 2 pieces (which equals a half of a pill) and it relaxes me to sleep. Everyone is different. You have to find your sweet spot. My husband takes the full 2 pills before bed and he's out cold. I'm so sensitive to meds and I hate the brain fog feeling so dr has me at half a pill at night time only. I can build from there once my body gets used to it. So far no complaints.

So bummed I bought two of these. I became constipated and was waking at 3 a.m. every night when I switched to this one. I had to go back to the one with TRAACS technology and it fixed everything night one. I loved the Swanson brand of mag/calcium w/ D & K but really need to be off that D right now due to taking a different very high dose the doctor is recommending for a month. The Swanson with only magnesium/calcium is the wrong balance of those two. I am paying for the unnecessary addition of the D/K so I can sleep and be regular again. This is a good price if it works for you.
