Better tasting than 100% Kona Bean coffee that is so hard to find and ourtrageously priced these days. Last time I ordered 100% Kona from Hawaii. Great smell and good taste but a hassle at ten times the price of Don Francisco's whole bean Kona Blend.

I bought this yesterday at my local grocery store to try something new. I am a daily coffee drinker and worked as a barista many years ago. I followed the manufacturer's instructions with 2 Tablespoons per 6 oz. water - waited 6 minutes - to do a coffee pour over. It was smooth with a sour aftertaste. It's OK, nothing special.

I normally don’t like pre-ground coffee but this batch was surprisingly fresh and the overall flavor of the beans was mellow and rich with a good balance. Not too acidic and not too bitter. Had nice caramel and chocolate notes that work well in lattes

The grounds were fresh and have a lovely aroma. It’s a blend of arabica beans with 10% Kona beans, which I found it to be too small amount to really taste it. The coffee was still smooth - I didn’t get a bitter aftertaste. It was on the lighter side, but still was a good way to get the energy needed to start the morning.

I usually don't bother with blends because they always feel lacking, but Don Francisco's makes a good, flavorful cup any way you want to make it. It holds up to creamer but works just fine black. I have made it with my automatic machine and with my French press, both with good results. To top it off, it is available at a reasonable price, making it my go-to morning cup now.
