This was an EPIC fail which makes me so sad as I do love Ms. Tabitha and snagged this and the scalp oil when I saw target had it. This made my type 4 hair so crunchy it was insane. Initlaly I was wondering why my hair was so crunchy next day after wash day. I refused to believe it was this product and applied more. Oh boy, big mistake. Almost like something in this formula has excess of protein and makes the hair instantly hard. I will be returning this but if Target refuses, then I will trash it.

It may work for someone with a softer texture but it did not give me the definition I was looking for. I usually layer a cream under my gel for my wash and go’s, however this cream did nothing. I ended up just using a leave in and gel. I’ll be returning. Sorry Auntie Tab, still luv u girl!

The smell is not overwhelming at all. It smells like cinnamon. If you don't like the smell of cinnamon, it's not for you. As for the product, it's a no for me. I did my usual LCO using this as my creme as opposed to my usual, and the next day, my hair felt dry as a bone. I don't feel like taking it back, so I'll mix my favorite hair creme with it and use it up. This line is a no for me. If it has water as it's base, it's not enough.

I purchased Donna's Recipe Extra Creamy Hair Cream and Extra Creamy Hair and Scalp Oil. I did not know that your products have coconut oil and contain protein. My scalp is flaky, itchy, and dry. The moisture has been completely sucked out of my hair. I am allergic to coconut oil and any type of protein products dries out my hair. I don't know what to do to get my hair back on track. Please read all of the ingredients before purchasing.

Donna—let me just say as a mother of a daughter with 4c hair I’ve tried all types of products for moisture, curls, etc & let me start by saying shampoo smells amazing, leaves the hair beautiful & hydrated same for the conditioner but the hair cream!!! The hair cream was the manic I was so pleased with how my daughter’s hair turned out juicy twist, smells amazing, & looks good! BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT !!! I loved it for 4C hair
