The Double Dusk Curtain Rod features an innovative wrap-around design which helps prevent light leakage by allowing your curtain or drapery panel to rest directly against the wall. Wrap the panel around the curved end of the rod and tuck it behind the bracket to eliminate exterior light from seeping in. Double Dusk is a strong and stable 5/8 inch diameter rod, constructed to hold curtains from light to medium weights, with a maximum capacity of 22 pounds.

The instructions are written for someone who has installed a similar wrap curtain rod before. We figured it out, but we had to re-drill some holes. They were out of the smaller size, so we got the larger one and planned to use it at 48". However, if you look at the picture, because the curtain rods screw into the wall-mount at both ends there won't be enough room if you install it at the exact minimum length. Leave yourself an inch or two more than the minimum. The dual rods are also very squirrely to hold up during installation, I would recommend measuring carefully and then completely removing both rods while you attach the wall-mounts and center support.

I replaced (3) single rods of the same style. Was able to use my existing fastener locations. Made the swap take just minutes. I use them outside to hold HD shower curtains to block the wind during the winter. With the double I don’t have to take the curtains off and on. NOTE: if you copy my use- I bought 48-84 and my span is 48” I wanted to make sure it would hold up to the wind. So no max expansion. Pics- shower curtain needs to be ironed 😀
