Yes: One of the only deodorants that actually masks odor and I have tried maybe 20-25 of them over the years (even earlier versions of Dove). No: Lasts maybe 8 hours and probably less if you’re sweating heavily. Reminder: This is a DEODORANT folks, not an anti-perspirant. This is not designed to prevent you from sweating just prevent you from smelling offensively.

It smells amazing. Let’s start with that. I really wish Dove made this exact scent in their other deodorants because it’s so good. Sadly, it’s more of a perfume stick than a deodorant. I had to apply and reapply and was still smelling body odor after a few hours. It also doesn’t do anything for sweating. Ah Dove, you nailed the scent and love that it’s aluminum free but it doesn’t last. 💔

I have been using this for more than a year now. And I don’t think I’ll ever switch back to an aluminum one. This is the only aluminum free deodorant that has ever worked for me. And it lasts me all day. (Which is a long day with 3 kids!) It is a great product, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

I wanted to like this deodorant. It worked well for a few weeks but then one day I was like “is that smell me?!” And then again the next day despite showering and reapplying. Maybe it’s just me but sadly I won’t be repurchasing

Very effective with controlling order. Definitely see a lighter skin tone underarm after a few months of use. Would recommend exfoliating with a charcoal scrub for the first few weeks when transitioning from traditional aluminum deodorant. Then for best results make sure the underarm is completely dry then apply the deodorant in 1 direction. Going up and down will just move it on and off the armpit.

Everyone knows when you make thr switch from aluminium anti perspirant there is a month adjustment period. I had done this about a year ago and had tried "natural deodorant" which contained sodium bicarbonate and burned my skin. The odour wasn't pleasant. I've since experimented with using an alcohol based layer, then a root powder and shea oil based layer to soak sweat and stay dry. This has mostly worked for for 12 to 24hrs (but not always) and sometimes having to reapply during day to absorb moisture(as the bacteria feed on sweat so getting rid of it is a priority..) I tried this dove vitamin care, and was so so surprised that it really did work for 48hours plus I sometimes would mix the all over body deodorant that is coconut oil and root power based the anti chafe deodorant from dove, and this should eliminate and reduce wetness. But overall I'm so so pleased something is actually working. It's the coconut and shea option. Which I think has a nourishing formula.

I LOVE the smell and that it’s free of aluminum and parabens but for this gal who has sensitive skin and eczema it’s a no go. I can use it once but I can’t repeatedly use it our it causes my underarms to get super red and burn like the dickens. So if you have sensitive skin and eczema I would not recommend it. I WOULD highly recommend Dove Sensitive 0% aluminum which seems to be the only one that doesn’t give me issues.

Wanted to try something new so I bought it and now I regret it. Smells good but after applying it my pits feel very sticky and just makes me sweat more. It will definitely leave you smelling worse not only that but it gave me a rash and left my armpits darker. Will be going back to my old deodorant.
