This product does not provide any odor protection. Within hours it smells like I didn’t put any deodorant on, no matter how much I use. I have never had a problem with any deodorant working and had used a handful of other aluminum free deodorants.

Love the fact that it is cruelty free… Does NOT WORK for me. I am not the most active man even on my block. I smell funky after a short amount of time not even close to 72 hours, talking about a few hours max.

I absolutely love this deodorant its more than just a deodorant its like a base layer of fragrance when lets say if you forgot to wear or you dont wear colognes or what not this will get the job done especially with the nice citrusy vibe and its perfect for high school students like me highly recommened it to everybody

Don’t know that these people are talking about when they say it smells bad. It doesn’t. It actually smells great and I made the switch from Degree to Dove because of how good this smells and how well it preforms when at work and at the gym where you’re really sweating. I even got the whole Hair and Body wash set. Great product Dove! Keep up the good work!

I bought a 2 pack to save money and they changed the scent! This used to be my favorite deodorant for years, but now it smell is so overpowering it makes me nauseous. Now I'll have to just replace it I guess.

The new 72 hour version smells TERRIBLE. My fiancé has used the original 48 hour version for years and that one smelled great. This new version smells like a cheap nasty car air freshner. Too bad we bought three of them to stock up.

Disappointing New Formula - Smells Like Women's Perfume I'm extremely disappointed with the new formula of Dove Fresh. As a long-time user of this product, I was excited to try the updated version. Unfortunately, the new scent is a major letdown. The moment I applied it, I was hit with a strong, overpowering fragrance that smells eerily similar to women's perfume. It's not what I expect from a product that's supposed to be fresh and clean. The new scent is so potent that it lingers on my skin for hours, making me feel like I'm wearing perfume instead of a deodorant. I'm extremely disappointed in Dove for changing the formula in such a drastic way. I hope they take customer feedback into consideration and revert back to the original formula.

Smells like the formula changed again! We dealt with this a year ago, and my most recent purchase of this product has me smelling like I put on a lavender 'Secret' product my wife uses. This really needs to stop - your customers expect consistency, and it shouldn't be a guessing game what my deodorant smells like, every time I get a new pack.

This was the only deodorant I used for years before they changed the formula to the "72 hours" version. New formula doesn't smell quite the same, is made of a solid gel rather than solid like it used to be, and lasts maybe 12hrs. If you take a shower in the morning and use this deodorant, you will stink by the afternoon.

BRING BACK THE OLD SCENT! Just used first new stick of 72 hour antiperspirant and it's going in the trash. I've lost track how many years I used the 48 hour deodorant but the streak of using Dove is over. It smells like a coconut air freshener than hangs from a rear view mirror.

I have used Dove antiperspirant for well over 10 years. Loved it. Recently I purchased Dove for men antiperspirant with long-lasting citrus scent. If this is the only option still available the next time that I purchase antiperspirant, I will be trying another brand. The scent is distracting and disgusting. I am very disappointed in this product change. I am leaning toward throwing it away rather than using it.

I used the Dove green "Extra Fresh" deodorant for probably 10 years, specifically because it had a mild neutral smell and wasn't overly perfumey. The new formula on the "72 hour" sticks absolutely reeks of overpowering perfume with a noxious scent. Wore it twice and threw away the whole stick. I smelled like a tween who OD'd on Axe body spray the whole time. Will not be buying from Dove again.
