I like that each one is only 60 calories. Perfect for a small after meal treat. I liked how creamy the ice cream was and the chocolate shell had the perfect thickness for a satisfying crunch. The only problem I had was they were not clearly labeled so I have no idea if im opening a vanilla or chocolate one. It took me 3 tries to get a chocolate one.

The ice did have a slightly gritty texture, almost like undissolved sugar but it doesn’t take away from the flavor. I would still eat them. I actually really enjoyed them. I love the dark chocolate with the vanilla inside, two flavors that taste perfect together. My kids loved them too. Perfect for a nice treat after dinner. The vanilla ice cream was Good but that Dark Chocolate isn’t for me. However if I find them with just Chocolate I would definitely try them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes less is more. Classic vanilla in a rich dark chocolate shell, it does not disappoint. The chocolate is nice and thick, tastes just like the Dove chocolate you expect and has the perfect ratio to balance the ice cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I wasn't super excited about trying this because it was just plain vanilla ice cream with a layer of chocolate but I was pleasantly surprised! Dove lived up to it's name by being silky smooth. The vanilla ice cream is mild and not overwhelmingly sweet...and the dark chocolate coating was thick which I loved. This product is more expensive than I would like but everything is so expensive these days anyway. I also wish the company would denote on the box whether the ice cream bars are vegetarian or not, as it doesn't list the source of the mono and diglycerides. I found the package aesthetically pleasing too. I would eat these again, but probably not purchase myself unless they were on sale. They need a little more pizzaz for me. :) I was incentivized by Influenster and Dove in exchange for my honest review.
