Q: Does this mattress topper include polyester in any of the product details? I’m allergic to polyester. While I’m vigilant in all of my research sometimes things are not labeled properly.

Heavy, but not soft, and way to bulky for a home washing machine. God knows what it would cost for professiona; laundering. Will probably discard before having it washed.

Fits well, fluffs well, is comfortable until you are inevitably needled by feathers poking through. This is my first down mattress topper so I don't know how normal/expected it is to be poked this much. I wouldn't purchase again

As what you should expect. It does add a little softness and padding but the same as a feather pillow it does go flat and has to be fluffed up. Unless you want to completely make your bed everyday the fluffing doesn't get done...

People aren’t lying when they say it smells BUT it is literally soooooo comfortable I’m hoping the smell dissipates cuz it straight up smells like a taxidermied animal. Also did beavers get ahold of the box it was shipped in? Lol

This topper is better than expected. It came shrink wrapped so it was not as tall as pictured. I have a bad back and had not slept well in months. After 3 nights I’m sold in this product. I’ve never slept better.

This has the WORST smell ever like an actual dead bird has been left inside of it. Tried to air it out a couple days still smells so bad. Couldn’t pay me to sleep on this scent. The softness and thickness is fine. Smell is too much to get passed

It's comfortable and it did what I wanted it for, but it smells REALLY BAD and I would smell like duck feathers after I slept. I'm currently trying to air it out but I might just return it and buy a different one

Gross Smell

The moment I opened the packaging, I was hit with the strong odor of dead chickens. It was so disgusting. I've owned both down comforters and mattresses before, and never had this issue - not even faintly. I can only guess that the sanitization process with this one wasn't followed properly, or at all. Smell didn't go away even after being left fluffed open for several days. Had to return it.

My son was complaining that his bed wasn't comfy enough due to mine being a pillow top and his is not. I decided instead of buying him a new mattress I'd go this route and I'm so so glad I did! Not only does he say his bed is more comfortable but that it's like sleeping on a cloud!

i think it actually was 4” thick when it was allowed to puff up but i hated that the feathers would start coming out n poking me. in the end not very comfortable.

I was very excited to receive this mattress because of the reviews. After testing it out, it’s not great at all! It’s a waste of money actually. It flattens very easily. I constantly shake and fluff it out, which works...for one night. The feathers also stick out. I do not recommend buying this.
