A: That's a great question, Mum. Our Downy Light White Lavender does have a lavender base note, but is much lighter and is a bit different from our Downy Infusions CALM, which has a lavender and vanilla base note. If you have any questions, give us a call at 800-688-7638.

I bought this over the vanilla comfy one. It’s perfect I like the smell better than Downy Calm. I used to on my bedding and now my room smells like it. Fragrant but not overkill. I’m really picky about scents and I’m a vanilla, lavender person only so this definitely fits the bill.

I actually switched from the other Downy beads because the scent was so overwhelming. I use these ones for every load I wash, the scent is so light and so real that you catch little whiffs of it when you move and it's like catching the scent of the lavender bush when you walk past it. It’s worth the money. Smells really good (wondered what this type of snell this was a long time ago, and now I know: lavender & vanilla). Don’t be shy when using it. The smell last when taking them out of the dryer. I don’t use drying sheets.

Smell was very different before use and after! I bought this product because I have used different scents before and thought it worked really well- the Lavendar that was supposed to be “light scent” was just super strong smelling and did not smell good at all after going through the washing machine.
