Downy Unstopables FRESH In-Wash Scent Booster beads are small laundry scent beads that work inside your washing machine, giving your laundry up to 12 weeks of freshness.* Before adding clothes, simply shake as many Downy Unstopables scent beads as desired into the cap, and then toss into the washer drum. This product caused an extreme allergic reaction. After looking into it further, I found that this product is made with many chemicals and other customers have been reporting allergic reactions.

My favorite has always been cotton, but didn’t care for that scent in this product line. I then tried this and I stick up on it! It’s a really nice light fresh scent and my laundry has smelt amazing! Easy to open and use and lasts for a good amount of time depending on how much laundry you do.

Man, I love these little beads! It really does make a huge difference when these are added to your load of laundry as they do a terrific job at adding that boost of freshness and signature smell. The clothes retain the scent for days after wash. Like the screw top cap which makes it easy to pour a few in before starting the wash.

Once you start using these scent beads you will never stop. They smell amazing and a little bit goes a long way. I usually use a scoop half way and that leaves the scent lasting for a couple weeks. I go with the big bottle and the quality is definitely worth it.

The scent is very strong and, I would say, quite chemical, but still more or less okay. It lasts a long time after washing. Next time, I would buy a different product, but the price is definitely reasonable. In any case, I recommend trying it!

I initially started buying this because my husband’s work clothes would ALWAYS smell like diesel, no matter how many times I washed them. This completely gets rid of the smell, and makes everything smell amazing! This is somewhat of a luxury item that has quickly become a necessity in my home. Downy has always been my favorite. Lives when they came out with the beads. Clothes smell great and leave no residue on clothes. The price is a little expensive at normal stores. I usually purchase at a wholesale club.
