When drinking milk baby takes in alot of air. And when trying to fix the issue, the bottle will leak excessive milk when removing cap.

My son is 25 months old. He has been using this cup for well over a year now. Can he drink from a regular straw cup, sippy cup, open cup? Yes. Does he still prefer this one? Yep. And so do I. It leaks less than any of our other straw cups (and trust me, we have tried A LOT). Yes, if you take it out of the cold fridge, then the pressure from the warm air can make it leak from the straw.. just like every straw cup. But it’s still less than most! I love that the straw is weighted so he can get all the way to the bottom. Yes, it’s a lot of pieces to clean. But it all comes apart easily so it actually can be cleaned (ignore the reviews about mold… they clearly weren’t taking it apart and cleaning it appropriately. We have used it for over a year with zero mold unlike so many of our others that have pieces that you can’t physically take apart to clean!). Sometimes you do have to rearrange the straw a little to make sure the pressure isn’t keeping the liquid from coming out. But that’s a simple fix. All in all, I’m extremely pleased with this cup. And that’s saying a lot from a mom of 4 with an entire cabinet full of cups!!
Waste of money

This is literally the only “sippy cup” my 15 month old will drink milk from but THEY LEAK! Why does every Dr. Browns bottle leak? I had it sitting upright, straw open, and milk poured out. I don’t put the top on when it’s warming, and even then I barely warm it. They need to fix this issue on all products. It’s so infuriating!
Sadly this was a dud.

Wanted to love these because we already use Dr Browns Bottles. Sadly these leaked all over even while sitting in an upright position. Luckily we only used for water but it made a mess and we still can’t figure out what wrong. Sadly this is a no for us, and not to mention pretty hard to suck thru the straw. I thought my baby just couldn’t get the hang of the straw until I tried to drink for myself. Get a NUK straw cup instead.

Love that I can see into the bottle. Love that it has a weighted straw. Love that it’s slender so it’s easier for my toddler to grasp—we take off the bulky handles. Love the softness of the “leak proof” silicone tip. Love that it’s an 8oz bottle. Love the cap. Don’t love how many parts I have to wash but I’m willing to put up with it because I love almost everything else about it. I have not found a better sippy. It’s the *most* leak proof sippy we’ve tried, although it’s not perfect. My toddler also sometimes has trouble with sucking liquid out, like the pressure inside is off and we have to redo the straw components. I always do a test sip.
