A: The Dr. Brown's nipples are designed to function with the Dr. Brown's bottles for proper bottle and venting function. Using the Dr. Brown's nipples with another brand may leak or flow too fast or too slow.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The Dr. Brown's nipples have been specifically manufactured for use with the free-flowing characteristics of the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow venting system. We do not test our nipples with other brands of bottles.

A: There are two kinds of options bottles - original and wide-neck. This will work with the original options bottles but not the wide neck.

I bought these premie/newborn nipples for my newborn baby born at 37weeks after using the flow 1 that comes with the bottles- that flow was too much and leaked. I switched to these and they are much better. No problems at all with the flow or leaks. I have bought them here and some at amazon- some nipples are clear some are cloudy- none the less I am so glad I found these, baby eats much better now.

We used Dr. Brown bottles but our lactation consultant make sure we purchased a smaller nipple size for the baby. Size 1 was drowning my baby and these helped create a better flow. Buy these from the start and ignore the age recommendations they provide because they are inaccurate.

Defective nipples. I bought two packs (four nipples total) and 1 out of the four I needed had an absolutely massive hole that made my premature baby choke. ALWAYS INSPECT BEFORE USE!

Im sorry but these bottles really aren’t that great. They leak no matter how full they are. After baby is done eating, I take the bottle away only to have milk pour out down the bottle and all over my hands, furniture, all over the baby. I’ve been using them for 3 months and each time I am frustrated by how bad they leak. I honestly don’t know what the big hype is about these bottles… I can’t be the only one having this issue. I am going to switch to EvenFlo bottles, I am done messing with Dr Browns leaky ones. They would be great if they didn’t leak so bad! I never fill them past the line so there should be no reason for this, and I assemble all the bottle’s correctly!

I was so determined and excited to use Dr.Browns, but They all leak! On thier website they say it's because the the nipple flow is too slow so it builds pressure, so I went up a size in the dr browns brand nipple and it's too fast of a flow for my baby. We have tried putting the lids on tighter, looser, and they still leak. There is nothing more aggravating than feeding at 3am and having milk run down the bottle and making a mess especially breast milk that you've worked hard for. When you google Dr.Browns there are multipleartices about them leaking. On their Facebook page, all you see are comments about how they leak. They are too expensive to be leaking. Hopefully soon we will be learning to use a sippy cup (not dr browns brand.) And we won't have to deal with this anymore.
