Dr. Elsey's Crystal Litter is safe and healthy for your cat. It is an amorphous silica gel infused with hydrolyzed herbs to draw cats to the litter box. Crystal Litter traps urine and odor on contact and has the particle size that long haired cats prefer. It will not adhere to the cat's long fur and it will not color the coat. Each bag contains a free Litter Box Solutions Booklet.

Instructions:
Pour one inch of Dr. Elsey's Crystal Litter into a clean litter box. Remove solid waste daily and rake crystals to ensure freshness. Litter does not form scoopable clumps. A single litter box filled with Dr. Elsey's Crystal Litter can handle multiple cats but we recommend using more than one litter box if you have more than one cat. Crystals may become discolored. The color does not affect the performance. One application will typically last two weeks depending upon use. After two weeks, completely dump the contents of the box and wash with mild soap and hot water. Refill with one inch of Dr. Elsey's Crystal Litter.
Additional Instructions:
Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.
Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid.
Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
Transition Instructions:
Pour Dr. Elsey’s into a clean litter box, using half as much as you would with a clay-based litter.
Top off the Dr. Elsey’s with the litter you are using now, mixing as you add. Give your cat time to get used to the crystal texture. Once your cat is used to the crystal texture (about one week), empty the litter box completely into the trash, and refill with Dr. Elsey’s.

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii-a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

A: Thank you for your question! The Crystal Attract litter is going to be silica sand with our cat attractant added into it. Our attractant is a proprietary herb blend, of all natural, non-toxic, plant based herbs designed to help attract the cat to the box. The Stress Protection is going to be silica sand but instead of the attractant, it is going to have an added herbal essence, similar to a bach flower remedy, that is designed to help prevent stress that could potentially lead to bigger health issues.

A: Thank you for reaching out. Our litter is very similar in terms of basic composition, gentle on paws but tough on odors. The biggest differentiator is that we use a natural herbal attractant that is proven to bring cats back to the box versus health monitoring features.

This is a good litter , i use two litters for my 3 cats . It does have lots of dust when poured . The feces do not smell at alll unless you scoop it out when they have went at that moment. I stur both litter everyday 2-3 times a day. it will start to smell after a week . ( the urine) no strong. I like the litter, so does my cats :)

I got this because it was slightly cheaper than Pretty Litter and Genius Litter. I should've just paid the extra $6 for either of those instead of this. Barely any odor control, so much dust, and even tho I mix it daily, pee still clumps in places. The only reason I gave it 2 starts is because it's more affordable. I'm literally buying Pretty Litter to replace it and storing the rest for emergencies. So bad in comparison.

First off, it's sharp. So, when your cat shakes off the remains on your bathroom floor, you'll feel like you're walking on broken glass. Also, it does not lock odor. Additionally, it turns liquid into sort of gel. So, yeah, you'll get yellow pee gel at the bottom of the litter box. We through it out after using once. What a terrible experience.

We have 4 cats and needed a break from the cost of using Pretty Litter in 2 litter boxes. Target puts this brand on sale fairly regularly so I stock up when it’s on sale. I use two bags every 3 weeks in 1 extra large litter box. We scoop solids and stir every morning and evening since there are 4 cats. You have to stir all the way to the bottom because the pee will pool otherwise and this will shorten the life of this litter. Does a great job of absorbing odors. Never going back to pretty litter!

Extremely dusty, there is a noticeable a dust film all over. Tried it as an alternative to pretty litter while it was on sale, and do not recommend. Made both myself and my cats cough due to excessive litter dust.

I haven’t tried this litter stand alone yet so I can only report my experience. I added this to my cat’s, who has hyperthyroidism and is funny about his litter box having a smell, box that has clay litter in it. MAGIC! No more smell of cat urine and no more peeing next to the litter box! No tracking is another great feature ❤️🐈⬛❤️
