Very disappointed in this book. They should publish a book with a actual doctor that works with patients. Very disappointed in Target lately for not carrying a broad spectrum of books.
This is a well written and beautifully illustrated book

This is a well written and beautifully illustrated book. It's very much about how hard work and determination prevail. It's an engaging, age-appropriate story that highlights, as the title suggests, how a curious Brooklyn boy, raised in a loving Italian family set out to help others in his life and succeeded. Anyone who suggests this is propaganda simply has not read the book and is reviewing based on their own pandemic-related biases alone. It's a great story about an everyday hero that will teach kids that when you face a problem, don't give up, keep working at finding a solution. Awesome book and might even buy some as gifts.

Half of these reviews are by parents who probably didn't even buy or read the book. If your anti vaccination or science at all then skip the book. Because this book and others like it of how a child dreamed big is what I would want my child to read and know he too can be what he wants. You guys with the bad reviews let politics dictate your whole life. Get over yourself. Read the book OR NOT. I read it and my three year old loves it. I'm always telling him he can do it! :)

If I could give this zero stars I would. The worst book about the worst “doctor” ever. My son has been told the truth about Dr. Fauci. I hope they investigate him fully and zero out his salary.

The positive message for children to embrace their curiosity, persevere through challenges, and explore carries through this beautifully illustrated and written book. Dr. Fauci’s story is one of a regular boy who grew to dedicate his life to work in the interest of public health for a career that spans decades. The 5 tips section and the photos from his life stood out as highlights. My 3 children (ages 4, 9, and 11) have enjoyed it in our home library.
