I don't know maybe it's a GenX thing but this takes like grape cough medicine to me. My 17yr old son doesn't mind it. So he can drink it I guess otherwise I'd throw it out.

This one in comparison to the original blackberry is slightly more dull in sweetness. Hence the 3 star review. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t the best, it was only okay. All in all, it’s a step up from the original Dr Pepper flavor that people tend to describe as “medicinal.” In my opinion.

I can’t handle the odd aftertaste of artificial sweetener, as it just makes the soda taste fake. Just a simple no from me!

I tried the regular Dr Pepper Blackberry and I know the regular Dr Pepper zero sugar still tastes good so was hoping this would be the same. I actually didn’t like the taste of the zero sugar and almost had a cough medicine after taste. I’d stick with the regular Dr Pepper Blackberry personally or if looking for zero sugar maybe the regular DP zero sugar.

Flavor starts slightly medicinal for the first second, but that sweet berry flavor then blends well with the great taste of Dr.Pepper. While it's not my favorite Dr.Pepper flavor, it's a delicious option that could easily be someone's first choice. There's barely any difference in flavor between this and the regular option.
