Q: Can this be taken in the first trimester? Has anyone taken this during pregnancy? My doctor okayed regular Dramamine, but it makes me SO tired, so I'm wondering if this is okay.

I used this once for non-motion sickness related nausea and it seemed to work well. The next day I used it prophylactically for motion sickness and my throat and chest burned for a good 30 minutes. It subsided but I did not feel well.

I purchased this non-drowsy option so that it could help with my motion sickness in the car while letting me stay awake and enjoy the scenic views during a road trip up to the mountains; however, it was not helpful at all and I felt so terrible. I took two as prescribed right before the drive and found that it didn’t “kick in” or help at all, and even after taking 2 more a couple of hours (so a total of 4 in a day), I still didn’t feel good. I would not recommend this at all and would instead opt for the less drowsy raspberry chewables ones instead (which I ended up getting the next day).

i bought some for a cruise i went on just in case i needed it. i didn’t need any but some of my family did and it works great. the only thing is that you have to take it before you start feeling sick otherwise it won’t work but that’s very common.

Just went on a cruise, didn't take anything the first day, was miserably sick. Starting second day I took one or two of these pills a day (less than recommended dose) and was totally fine! I get ridiculously motion sick super easy. Even looking at screens makes me motion sick. I'm so thankful this worked for me. Content warning: I can't take normal dramamine or bonine because they make me suicidal (super weird.) Over the counter patches help, but I can't sleep, and when I do sleep I have nightmares. Sea bands, ginger chews, ginger candy don't work. Also, this pill may be a hangover cure??? Normally, if I even have one drink, the next day I'll be miserable. But one night on the cruise I had 5 long islands. Normally this would have had me bedridden for at least a day. But I woke up the next day completely normal????? Definitely recommend giving this a go if you're anything like me, I'm very thankful I found it!

Felt very disoriented taking this version. I’ve taken almost every single variant of Dramamine. I felt intoxicated taking this version. Not fun, will take the original less drowsy to cure my motion sickness.

I’ve taken every variety of Dramamine and this one hasn’t failed me yet. The first time I took a gamble and took it 30 min before a 4 hour boat ride around San Diego and had the time of my life. It does make your chest warm up and can give you warm ginger burps but I find that eating a little bit of food following the dose helps with that. I’m willing to deal with warm ginger burps if that means I can do things like boat trips, amusement park rides, and plane rides without dealing with motion sickness.

I used this multiple times for flights and it didn’t help even a little. Also, it burnt my throat and tasted like acid chemicals every time I would burp, which made me more sick.
