Q: can this be used strictly as a bed frame, with no other frame or headboard around it?
A: The universal bracket does NOT fit this bed. I bought it because I read this, and it is not designed for it; the beams are too thick. And now I can't return it because of COVID 19. So don't buy it for this frame.
submitted byKaren - 5 years agoA: unfortunately, there are no connectors of any kind to the front of this frame to attach a headboard. but i have it for over a year now and have had no other problems w it.
submitted bywren - 7 years agoA: Karen, I personally apologize and you're correct, the Euro headboard bracket that is designed for this particular bed is currently not listed by Target. The headboard bracket I mention above is actually for our 14" and 18" metal platform frames without the lumbar support instead. Please call our support line at 866-926-2693 and we will get this issue resolved for you. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Q: How much clearance from floor to bottom of frame for storage purposes?
A: The height is 14". Lots of space!

Q: how tall are the legs?
A: This platform bed frame is 14 inches from floor to the top of the slats. The under bed clearance is approximately 12 inches, depending on the weight of your mattress and the flexion of the slats.

Q: What size frame is shown in the first picture with 2 support bars, resulting in 3 sections for slats?
A: The King and California King sizes have 2 center support bars, with 3 sections for slats. All other sizes of these Eco Dream platform bed frames have a single center support bar.

Q: Are these legs hollow? Are they steel? It appears they are square metal tubing, 1-1/2 "to 2"wide, with end caps on the feet. I need a frame that is no more than 11" high, so I would consider cutting the legs to make them shorter.
